She confides in Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and tells her she’s having an affair with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). Now, the two women have gotten close, but Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) is Allie’s uncle. So, this puts her in a tough spot.

DOOL spoilers reveal that Rafe (Galen Gering) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) will spend some time together. The holidays are quickly approaching and both are feeling lonely. Nicole is still a newlywed, but has been living in Salem while Eric is helping villagers overseas. As for Rafe, he is heartbroken that Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) left town after Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) death.
As Rafe and Nicole reconnect and comfort each other over being alone on Christmas, they end up sleeping together.

Rafe and Nicole will agree to keep their night of passion a secret. However, it seems that it won’t be just that one time. They will find themselves having a full-fledged affair and even might fall in love. Nicole knows she told Rafe that they wouldn’t tell anyone, but she just can’t resist and admits the truth to one person.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that during the week of December 21, Nicole will confide in Allie. (Lindsay Arnold) The two women have bonded and gotten close. They are friends and even consider each other family. After all, Nicole is Henry Horton’s (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) legal guardian. However, Nicole really shouldn’t tell Allie about her affair. They might be close, but she needs to remember that Allie is Eric’s niece.

When Nicole admits to Allie that she is sleeping with Rafe, the new mom might not take it very well. She adores her uncle and can’t stand to see him hurt and betrayed. The more excited that Nicole gets when talking about Rafe, the worse that Allie will feel about the situation. She will want Eric to know the truth, even if it will break his heart.
Nicole might not agree with that and try to convince Allie to keep quiet. Will she keep the affair to herself or does she end up telling Eric about his wife’s betrayal? Will this end up destroying “Ericole” forever? We will have to keep watching the NBC soap opera to see how this storyline develops.

I don’t mind the pairing of Nicole and Rafe, after all, Eric was very boring and Nicole and Rafe are exciting to watch. I think that the writers shouldn’t have written them getting together this way although I was very excited having read that Nicole and Rafe were going to be a couple. Why ruin these two characters by making them unloyal, cheaters and portray them in a negative way just to go along with Eric/Greg Vaughn not wanting to return to Days. Very unfair to these two actors to portray them like this and have fans angry and not want to root for them.
I agree with Dede. Very, very true.
Writing Nicole and Rafe getting together is wonderful but having Nicole cheat on a Eric is not the right way to start off making them a couple to root for.
