DOOL spoilers reveal that Allie and Tripp looked as if they were going to be together long-term. Even though Allie had feelings for Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), she picked Tripp and the two seemed to be doing well together. After everything Allie put Tripp through during the Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) storyline, it seemed that the love triangle was resolved.

However, Johnny DiMera aka “JoDevil” (Carson Boatman) exposed Allie’s cheating when Tripp proposed. Even though Tripp was furious with Allie and broke off the engagement, he still had feelings for her. That is what led Tripp to sacrifice his own life to save Allie from the devil.

Allie might even tell Tripp that she wants to get back together with him. Before Tripp’s death and resurrection, he probably would have taken her back. However, things are different now.

DOOL Spoilers – Deserving Of Real Love

Even though Tripp will always love Allie, the death and resurrection make him realize he deserves better. Adams explained to Soap Opera Digest how death will change Tripp’s perspective on love and life.

“He’s going to take a long hard look at himself and what he needs. He will realize that he can be worthy of love like everyone else and be like, ‘I want someone who loves me for me and only me, and not have to compete with someone else.’”

With Tripp coming to this realization, Allie might try to get her relationship back with Chanel. However, Chanel will face a dilemma when Johnny suggests they get remarried. It sounds like Allie is going to be alone and out in the cold for a while. Perhaps the time alone will make her realize just how much bouncing back and forth has hurt the people she claimed to love.
