The actress explains that Tripp having a Salem connection adds a new layer of complication for her.

In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, actress Lindsay Arnold talked about the storyline. She confirmed that even though Allie recognizes Tripp, she doesn’t understand why she feels so hostile toward him. At least, she doesn’t understand at the beginning of their interaction.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that all changes when Tripp grabs Allie’s arm. When that happens, suddenly Allie starts to remember things. The actress explained,

“She starts remembering a lot of things that she pushed deep down, so it’s a mix of a lot, a lot of shock, anger and confusion. [When Tripp grabs her arm] that immediately throws her back into that night, and that’s when it becomes clear to her that this is the father of her baby.”

DOOL Spoilers – A Whole New Layer

After the encounter with Tripp, Allie goes home and confides in Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker). When Nicole mentions that Tripp is Steve’s son, Allie is shocked and didn’t realize he had a Salem connection. The actress teased that it adds a whole new layer to everything.

It is also confirmed that everything will start flooding back to Allie’s mind and she will remember that Tripp raped her. She will want justice and revenge, which leads her to ask a fellow Salemite for help. But will they go too far and is Tripp really the one who raped Allie? Or is there more to this story than we (or maybe even Allie) knows? We will have to keep watching the NBC soap opera to find out how this story develops over the next few weeks.
