Allie ends up running into Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols), who wants her to go over the rape with him. She goes through the events, piece by piece. Steve ends up making an observation, though. When Allie talks about the rapist holding her down, she saids “his hands” and not “Tripp’s hands.” This makes Steve wonder if Allie can’t remember those hands actually being attached to Tripp’s body. It makes Allie question everything and doubt her own memories.
