DOOL spoilers reveal that in just a few days, everyone will know that Charlie is Ava’s son and Tripp Dalton’s (Lucas Adams) brother. Charlie being the person who actually raped Allie will also be known throughout Salem. He can’t be prosecuted for the rape, but there are other charges that could be filed. So, why is he not behind bars?

It is possible that Ava is too afraid to confirm that Charlie assaulted her and held her hostage. He tells his mother that he has been drugging her and she will start to have hallucinations very soon. He informs Ava that she will see and hear things that aren’t even there and will likely be admitted to the psychiatric ward. Charlie warns his mother that nobody will believe anything that comes out of her mouth.

Now, we don’t know if Charlie really did drug Ava or not, but she might believe him. If she won’t say he held her hostage, then there really isn’t anything the police can do. Another possibility is that Charlie’s mob connections are able to get him off or he makes bail.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that as the weeks go on, Charlie will continue to threaten Ava. She will be constantly reminded of what he can do and she’s one step away from being thrown in the looney bin. If he’s going to assault, drug, tie up and threaten his own mother, then he wouldn’t hesitate to hurt someone who’s not related to him.

When Allie has a tense encounter with Charlie, it’s only reasonable to assume she is in danger. He might not be able to be prosecuted for raping her, but Charlie likely blames her for all of his problems. That might make her a target and he could plan to eliminate her. The same goes for Tripp, which Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols) warns him about.

There is no telling what Charlie will do next. Look at what he’s done already and he’s walking around Salem like a free man. After Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) breaks up with him, his anger will probably get even worse. Is there really no way to stop him before someone else gets hurt or worse, ends up dead? We will have to keep watching the NBC soap to see what happens with this storyline.
