Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap Friday, December 20, 2019, reveals Gabi Hernandez (Camilla Banus) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) discuss Kristen Dimera’s (Stacy Haiduk) shares.

DOOL Recap – Gabi Hernandez Thinks She’s Won

Gabi listens to Kristen’s message and calls her back. Kristen has had her tattoo redone and shows it to Lani Price (Sal Stowers). Kristen and Lani toast to getting back everything they have lost. Kristen puts the phone on speaker so Lani can listen in on the conversation. Gabi wonders why Kristen didn’t turn the shares over to the convent. Kristen mentions Gabi’s generous offer. Gabi asks how Lani fits into this. Kristen tells Gabi she’s not talked to Lani about any of these. Kristen promises to talk to Gabi after Christmas. Lani toast Kristen on a job was well done. Kristen says they keep turning up the heat now.

Days of Our Lives Recap – Marlena Evans Thanks John Black

Days of Our Lives’ Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) walks in as John Black (Drake Hogestyn) is wrapping her Christmas gift. Marlena thanks John for making sure Hope Brady/Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso) moved out. Marlena has gifts to drop off for Christmas. Marlena feels guilty over insisting Hope leave. John tells Marlena that she was right about Hope. John says Hope told him so. John explains that Hope said her feelings started to change. Hope claims to believe John’s feelings had changed too. Marlena talks about everything Hope has been through. John thinks these last two years have been harder than anyone thought. Marlena says Bo was Hope’s rock. John tells Marlena that Hope called him that.

DOOL Recap – Hope Brady Tries To Cover Her Tracks

Days of Our Lives’ Hope is with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) at Gina’s lair. Rafe plans to prove who was in that room. Hope doesn’t believe Stefano Dimera/Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) would come back to Salem. Abe goes to John and Marlena’s and tells them Stefano is or was in Salem. Hope tells Rafe they are wasting their time.

Rafe wants to go over every inch of the apartment. Hope wonders if she got everything. Rafe finds a tiara in the chair. Rafe takes the tiara to have it checked for prints and DNA. Abe believes Stefano and Rolf left town together. Marlena tells Abe that Stefano doesn’t run. Marlena plans to go to the pub. Marlena tells Abe and John that Stefan would not be at the pub. John doesn’t feel good about Marlena being out there alone. Abe gets a call. Abe tells John that Stefano hasn’t returned but in a way, he’s in Salem. John tells Abe that makes no sense.

Days of Our Lives Recap – Chad DiMera Promises To Cut Stefano  DiMera Out Of His Life

Days of Our Lives’ Kate Dimera (Lauren Koslow) is missing from her shift at the pub. Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) apologizes to Abby Dimera (Kate Mansi) and Chad Dimera (Billy Flynn) being going upstairs to find Kate. Abby and Chad discuss Dr. Rolf (William Utay). Chad vows to cut Stefano off if he helps Rolf. Chad was hoping his father had changed. Abby tells Chad that Stefano will never change. Chad says Stefano is dead to him if he had anything to do with Rolf trying to kill her mother. Chad plans to find Kristen after the new year. Chad and Abby go Christmas shopping.

Abby tries to call J.J. Deveraux (Casey Moss). Abby says J.J. is drifting further and further away. Abby is determined to visit J.J. Chad tries to discourage Abby. Eli tells Chad that Kristen called Gabi about the shares. Chad disappears to make a call. Abby asks Eli how he could be with Gabi. Marlena drops by the pub to give Roman his gift. Roman has a gift for Kate as well. Roman tells Marlena to leave Kate’s gift behind the bar but she takes it upstairs instead. Abby defends Lani to Eli. Meanwhile, Chad argues with Gabi about the shares. Chad gets a call from Kristen while with Gabi. Eli tells Abby he talked to Lani in Rome. Eli tells Abby that Kristen and Lani are about to become nuns. Eli tells Abby he knows where J.J. is. Marlena knocks on Kate’s door, she doesn’t answer. Stefano says, Marlena.

DOOL Recap – Roman Brady Knows Kate DiMera Is Hiding Someone

Days of Our Lives’ Kate oversleeps and finds herself in bed with Stefano. Stefano wants to rekindle their relationship. Kate cannot rekindle anything while he has Steve’s face. Roman comes upstairs and knocks on the door looking for Kate. Kate ushers Stefano into the bathroom and lets Roman into her room. Roman wants to know what took so long and who she was talking to. Kate claims to be sick. Roman find a shoe and says Kate won’t be in bed alone.

Roman tells Kate she doesn’t have to lie to him about an overnight guest. Kate claims to be sick. Roman tells her that is a lucky guy. Kate tells Stefano she loathes him. Kate throws Stefano out of her room. Stefano wants Kate to check out his apartment and to bring him lunch. Kate goes by the apartment and clashes with Hope. Hope slaps Kate. Kate tells Gina she will pay for that. Rafe interrupts their argument.
