Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Friday, January 10, 2020, reveals Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) speaks to Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) at the pub. Kayla updates Marlena on Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) condition.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Marlena Supports Kayla

Marlena has been worried about Kayla. Marlena thinks Steve Johnson/Stefano Dimera (Stephen Nichols) didn’t mean to hurt Kayla. Kayla is upset because she was happy until Steve came back. Kayla wishes Steve wasn’t being such a jerk. Kayla doesn’t understand the animosity.

Marlena can’t explain Steve’s actions. Marlena says their bond is strong and can’t be broken. Kayla asks why Hope Brady/Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso) has brought Steve back. Marlena tells her how Hope has made passes at John. Kayla says Hope doesn’t sound like herself. Marlena isn’t threatened by Hope, but Stefano is a threat. Kayla has to get back to the hospital. Marlena wonders if Kayla would consider going back to Steve, she says no.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Kristen Is Stunned

Days of Our Lives’ Steve arrives at Kristen Dimera’s (Stacy Haiduk) room. Steve claims to be there for Stefano. Kristen says Stefano only wants to talk to Chad Dimera (Billy Flynn). Kristen doesn’t give a damn about Stefano. Kristen is shocked the Steve wants her help Kristen refuses to try to expose Stefano. Kristen doesn’t have plans for the stock. Kristen’s plan is to break up Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Kristen and Steve discuss their love life.

Steve tells Kristen that Stefano loves that she knows what she wants and how to get it. Steve knows how Stefano thinks and feels. Kristen has been nothing but loyal to Kristen. Steve says Stefano may have his reason for not contacting her directly. Kristen wonders what Steve isn’t telling her. Kristen wonders why Stefano didn’t come to her when he lost her child. Steve tells Kristen they have more of a connection then she realizes. Kristen wonders what connection they could possibly have. Steve tells Kristen he is her father.

Days of Our Lives’ Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) wants to speak to Victor about Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal). Victor would have rather woken up to a prettier face. Xander questions what happened between Victor and Ciara. Victor says Ciara confronted him about Jordan Ridgeway’s (Chrishell Hartley) murder. Ciara arrives and demands to talk to Victor. Xander tries to keep Ciara from talking to Victor. Ciara confronts Victor in front of Xander. Ciara vows to go to Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) for help. Victor says they have to tell Ciara the truth.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Ben Gets Bad News

Days of Our Lives’ Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) tells Ciara the parole board has reached their decision. Justin goes to see Victor as Ciara visits Ben. Ciara tells Ben that Justin told her the verdict. Justin asks if Ciara is right. Xander tries to throw Justin out of Victor’s room. Justin says the ruling just came in. Ciara tells Ben they didn’t overturn his conviction. Ben isn’t surprised by this action. They also denied commuting the sentence to life in prison. Ben wants Ciara to leave and not come back. Ben threatens the guard when she hugs him. Clyde Weston (James Read) wants to stage a jailbreak.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Hope Decides To Kill Marlena

Days of Our Lives’ Hope arrives at the apartment and calls out to Stefano. John Black (Drake Hogestyn) answers and wonders why she expects Stefano to be there. Hope claims because the lock had been tampered with. John shows Hope a cigar and says Stefano has been there. Hope claims that someone must have overlooked the cigar butt. John asks if Hope wants to log it into evidence.

Hope puts it in a tissue and into her bag. Hope tells John he’s lucky she didn’t shoot him. John is doing whatever it takes to bring down Stefano. John wants to get inside Stefano’s head. John has a question about Steve. John wonders how Hope tracked Steve down and brought him home.

John says Steve acts strange. John doesn’t understand how Hope could get in touch with Steve while he’s undercover. Hope reassures John they can work together as professionals. Hope apologizes to John for misunderstanding. John says their friendship can survive this. John says any man would be lucky to have her. Hope plans to kill Marlena.
