Lani thought running away would help her but it didn’t. Lani tells Kristen about the baby she lost. Kristen says she understands what Lani is saying. Kristen and Brady would still be together if their daughter had survived. Lani says it’s strange she and Kristen ended up there together. Kristen wanted Brady’s child for so long. Kristen says that should have been the happiest moment of her life.

Kristen asks why Lani dropped Eli at the altar. Lani claims to have not loved Eli enough. Kristen accuses Lani of lying. Lani says everyone Eli cares about would have suffered terrible pain if she had married him. Kristen tells Lani she had to make sure she’s ready to take the vows of the convent. Kristen encourages Lani to confess everything before her vows. Lani blames Gabi and hopes she burns in hell for what she’s done.

Days of Our Lives Gabi Dimera (Camilla Banus) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) are back together. Gabi didn’t think Eli would ever get over Lani. Eli defends Lani to Gabi. Eli defends Lani over the shooting. Lani wasn’t the person Eli thought she was. Eli doesn’t understand why Lani had to humiliate him in front of all those people.

Eli is glad Lani has left town. Gabi says Lani was never worthy of him. Eli is much happier with Gabi. Gabi and Eli make out before he begins to investigate Chad Dimera (Billy Flynn). Gabi’s phone is under the cushion causing Julie’s heart to begin to race. Gabi discovers the phone and stops Julie’s heart from racing.

Days of Our Lives John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso) are sharing a drink. Gina makes a toast to us. Gina has gotten wine for herself and John. Gina asks if John still misses Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). John talks about how he couldn’t wait on Marlena any longer. Hope recalls talking about how Marlena wanted the position she took. John doesn’t understand why Marlena didn’t tell him about it. John rushed off to talk to Marlena. Gina reveals that she paid for Marlena to leave town for another job. John believes absence makes the heart grow fonder.

John believes Gina is Hope. Hope thinks John for letting her stay there. John says this all worked out that Hope/Gina moved in with him. John says it is nice to have someone to talk to. Gina has been taking John’s letters from Marlena and destroying them. Gina has been hiding John’s letters as well. Gina touches John’s hand and asks if he is lonely. John gets a bit drunk and talks about how many times he left Marlena for work. Hope hasn’t been with anyone since she and Rafe broke up.

John laughs at Hope’s admission. Hope thinks she will never be with anyone again. Gina hopes she didn’t say anything to make John uncomfortable. Gina thinks John for his friendship in the past few months. John goes to warm up their food. Gina is convinced that John wants her. Gina pours wine on her shirt before removing it to give John a push. John walks back in and Gina complains about spilling her wine. Marlena walks in and asks if she’s interrupting something.
