Kate tells Jake that the baby is a result of the rape. Kate talks about the baby being a constant reminder of the rape. Jake tells Kate there is nothing easy about this. Jake says Kate’s love is fierce and her granddaughter may need that to feel safe again. Kate tells Jake he is a constant surprise. Jake says Kate has surprised him too. Jake and Kate begin to make love. Kate thinks the situation with her and Jake is funny. Kate says this is crazy, Jake says there is no place he would rather be.

Roman tells Rafe that Vincent Bellman (Michael Teh) kidnapped Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal). Roman tells Rafe about the explosion. Rafe can’t believe this, Ciara had her whole life ahead of her. Roman tells Rafe they never found a body. Roman tells Rafe that Hope is convinced the Vincent lied about killing Ciara.

Roman asks about Rafe’s mom, he says it was all a lie. Rafe tells Roman his father got into a mess and this family was in danger. Rafe says he should have never left Hope. Roman tells Rafe there was nothing he could have done. Roman asks if the men are still after Rafe’s family. Rafe got everyone safe and the men that are left are in prison. Rafe says his brother is doing what he does and his father is in Mexico. Rafe says he and his sister came back home to stay. Roman is glad Rafe is back in Salem to stay. Roman tells Rafe they don’t know where Hope has gone or when she will be back.

Days of Our Lives Chad Dimera (Billy Flynn) is home alone when Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) arrives. Chad demands to know why Gabi is there. Gabi says this is her home. Chad says it’s not especially now that Abby is here. Chad continues to blame Gabi for drugging Abby. Abby says the person who did it is still out there. Gwen Rizchech (Emily O’Brien) seems stunned to see Gabi.

Gwen berates Gabi for breaking Jake’s heart. Gwen sends Gabi to the workshop to find Jake. Abby comes home and Chad tells her Gabi is back home. Chad promises to protect Abby from Gabi. Gabi sees Jake and Kate in bed together.
