Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Monday, January 27, 2020, reveals Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) tells Will Horton (Chandler Massey) that Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) caused the accident. Will has trouble believing this is real.

Will says he heard the horn and saw the car swerve and then saw it go off the road. Will thought Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) was mistaken when she said the car was black. Ciara says Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) overheard Will confessing to J.J. Deveraux (Casey Moss). Will can’t believe Maggie went along with this. Ciara says Maggie has no memory of that night. Ciara mentions the run-in with Summer Townsend (Marie Wilson).

Ciara says Maggie will be devastated. Will says the guilt is much worse than the prison sentence. Will says maybe the truth shouldn’t come out. Ciara tells Will that Maggie would not want him to pay for her actions. Ciara says Will has suffered long enough and deserves to be with Sonny again. Will says he’s sorry that Ciara wasted all this time. Ciara knows she can clear Will right now. Ciara will feel good knowing Will can get out of jail and go home. Will says things can change. Ciara tells Will he gets to reclaim his life. Will asks what Victor will do when he finds out what Ciara did. Ciara says she is doing the right thing. Will is worried about the look on Maggie’s face when the truth comes out.

Ciara says Will needs to think about his family. Ciara encourages Will to hold on. Ciara wishes Ben could be released too. Ciara doesn’t want Will to let her search be in vain. Will never thought there would be a me and Sonny again. Will wants to think about this before telling Hope Brady/Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso) the truth. Ciara tells Will if Maggie knew the truth she would be the first one that wants Will back with his family. Ciara leaves Will to think about his choices.

Maggie cannot imagine the feeling of knowing you killed a family member. Sarah will always be grateful to Xander for delivering the baby. Maggie says Xander loves Sarah. Sarah can’t worry about Xander now, she has to focus on her daughter. Sarah is worried that she and Eric won’t be a match.

Maggie says they have to keep praying that someone in the family is a match. Sarah thanks Maggie for staying with her. Sarah says she sees sick patients every day but this is so hard. Sarah has to be strong for the baby. Maggie says Sarah is the strongest person she knows. Maggie says she left Sarah down the night the baby was born but never again. Eric and the baby join Sarah and the test results haven’t come in yet. Eric asks Sarah how Maggie is. Maggie feels guilty for not being there for Sarah. Eric wasn’t there either. Eric tells Sarah he has forgiven her. Sarah asks Eric if he has forgiven Nicole.

Days of Our Lives’ Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen Dimera (Stacy Haiduk) talk about their daughter. Brady was touched the Kristen chose his mother’s name for the baby. Brady tells Kristen the baby had her eyes so he went with Rachel Isabella for the baby’s name. Brady gives Kristen his handkerchief. Kristen can only think about what could have been when she’s around Brady.

Kristen says Brady is the only one who understands. Brady asks Kristen if she has seen the baby’s grave and offers to go with her. Kristen is touched that Brady would go with her. Brady and Kristen have flowers for the baby. Kristen has white flowers, Brady has pink. Kristen imagined white flowers for the christening of their child. Brady and Eric hug. Brady introduces Kristen to the baby. Eric tells them about the bone marrow donation needed. Kristen doesn’t want Eric to go through what she and Brady did. Eric understands. Kristen tells Nicole she and Brady are going to the cemetery.

Eric finds out about Brady and Nicole supposedly being together. Nicole is furious and Brady isn’t happy either. Eric says Nicole never mentioned this. Eric says it is Nicole’s business and leaves with the baby. Brady and Kristen leave. Kristen talks to her daughter at her grave. Kristen talks about all the hopes and dreams they had for their child. Kristen says everything would have been different if the baby had survived. Brady holds Kristen and tells her the baby knows they loved her.

Sonny Is Ready To Move On

Days of Our Lives Sonny Kiriakis (Freddy Smith) stops by to visit Evan Frears (Brock Kelly) to hang out. Evan questions Sonny’s decision. Sonny tells Evan he and Will signed the divorce papers. Evan asks if Sonny is ok, he says not at all. Sonny says he owed it to Will to end their marriage in person. Sonny wanted to make sure a divorce is what they both really wanted.

Sonny still loves Will and always will but he can’t forgive him for killing his mother. Sonny doesn’t know how to explain about the divorce to his daughter. Evan offers to help Sonny. Sonny says Evan has already done a lot. Evan has helped Sonny see that he has a future beyond Will. Sonny kisses Evan and Evan pulls away. Sonny tells Evan he wants to be with him. Sonny says he wants Evan and they kiss. Evan leads Sonny to his bedroom.
