Rafe calls Sonny Kiriakis (Freddy Smith) and asks for his help. Rafe tells Sonny that Evan is Orpheus’ (George DeHoyo), son. Rafe tells Sonny everything he has found out about Evan. Rafe wants Sonny to talk to Evan about the baby. Rafe believes Evan will open up to Sonny.

Chad appeals to Evan’s sense of parenting to get him to act. Sonny tells Chad he needs to do right by the baby. Sonny asks if Evan can trust that man with his son. Days of Our Lives’ Lani and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) watch as Evan calls Orpheus. Evan demands Orpheus take the baby to the doctor but he refuses. Evan starts to leave the square but Sonny stops him. Gabi tells Rafe that Sonny is talking to Evan in the square. Evan asks Sonny if the cops sent him. Sonny tells Evan, yes and he can’t go on like this. Evan isn’t giving his son up to Rafe. Sonny asks if Orpheus is watching the baby. Sonny tells Evan that Orpheus will get the baby in the middle of a shootout. Evan says Orpheus risked his life to pick up medication for his son. Sonny asks what is wrong with the baby.

Kate reads the letter to Gabi. Kate and Gabi don’t like the sound of the letter. Kate finishes reading the letter. Kate believes this letter is behind Chad being brainwashed. Kate believes Stefano ordered Chad to do this to them. Kate tells Gabi that Steve brainwashed Chad. Kate and Gabi think someone else walked in and saved them.
