Marlena talks to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and John walks in. Roman asks what happened to John’s had. Marlena lies and says it was just a disagreement. Marlena tries to calm John but it doesn’t help. John continues to rage about his issues. Marlena tries to calm him. John explains to Roman that the aneurysm has changed him. Roman tells John he owes him five hundred bucks for dinner. John says being with Marlena is the best medicine ever. John wants to walk home to their place. Marlena gets a phone call but no one answers. John and Marlena walk home.

Allie wonders how Nicole knows exactly what to say. Nicole tells Allie it is hard being apart from her husband. Allie calls herself selfish. Nicole says Allie and her son inspire her every day.
