Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Monday, October 28, 2019, reveals Gabi DiMera (Camilla Banus) causes Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) pacemaker to accelerate her heart rate.

Gabi tells Lani Price (Sal Stowers) if she doesn’t agree to break up with Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) she will ruin Julie’s heart. Lani tells Gabi how evil she is. Gabi tells Lani she is the one who killed an innocent man. Lani wants to know how Gabi can hurt Eli like this.

Lani says Eli won’t believe her if she tries to break up with him. Gabi tells Lani to make it happen or Julie dies. Lani tries to talk Gabi into dropping this plan. Gabi assures Lani that it is only fair that Lani loses her husband.

Eli tells Gabi that Julie wants to see her.

Julie apologizes to Gabi for their relationship. She is sorry that Stefan Dimera (Brandon Barash) is dead. Julie promises to be back on her dancing feet soon and talks about the wedding. Gabi says she hopes the wedding is everything they dreamed of. Julie thanks Gabi for making it possible to see Eli move on with his life. Julie says she owes her life to Gabi.

Days of Our Lives Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) collapses on the floor in his kitchen. Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Hartley) asks Rafe what is wrong. Jordan realizes that Rafe has gotten the poisoned cupcake. J.J. Deveraux (Casey Moss) and another paramedic come to get Rafe. Rafe wakes up as he is being taken to the ambulance. Rafe agrees to go on to the hospital. Rafe wants Jordan to stay with the baby. Jordan insists on calling a baby sitter. Rafe tells J.J. that they were celebrating David Ridgeway’s (Ellis Twins) birthday. Haley arrives and tells Rafe he was poisoned.

Ciara says her mom doesn’t smoke. John invites Ben and Ciara to join them for dinner.

John and Marlena ask about Hope. Ciara tells Marlena about the pain in Hope’s head. Ciara wants dessert after dinner. John and Marlena pay for dinner and leave Ciara and Ben. Marlena says Ben seems excited about spending time with his nephew. Marlena believes Jordan is sitting Ben up. Jordan calls to check on Ciara. David thanks Jordan again and hangs up the phone. Jordan demands to know what went wrong. J.J. and Rafe talk about food poisoning. Jordan comes in and tries to get Rae to leave the hospital.

Rolf plans to rule Salem with Gina but she wants John back and plans to have him. Gina sends Rolf for chocolate and tea. Gina talks to Stefano DiMera’s (Joe Mascolo) portrait. She won’t let Marlena stand in her way. Rolf returns to find Gina gone. Gina arrives at John and Marlena’s door.
