Roman says Joe is a Christmas miracle. Joe says they have Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) to thank for that. Roman brings up Tripp, Joe doesn’t believe it. Joe calls his sister and she offers him a job. Joey tells Steve about his conversation with his sister. Steve and Joey plan to do a video chat later tonight. Steve tells Joey (James Lastovic) that Kayla got called to the hospital to deliver babies. Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) comes to speak to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) about the hospital party. Steve goes to the hospital and plays Santa for the pediatrics ward. Santa flirts with Kayla who promises to show him tonight what list he made.

Tripp Worries About His Mom

Days of Our Lives Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) is at home wondering where his mom is. Tripp has gotten a tree to surprise his mom. Steve stops by and tells Tripp he’s afraid that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) has left town for good. Steve believes that Ava left because the charges were dropped. Tripp disagrees with Steve. Tripp thinks that Steve needs her more than she needs him.

Tripp shows Steve the cards that Ava wrote to him every year they were apart. Ava is nowhere to be found and Tripp starts to go to the police station. Tripp leaves a message saying he is headed to the police station. Tripp hears someone at the door and thinks it’s his mother. Tripp opens the door to find Lucas there.

Kayla Delivers Lani’s Twins

Days of Our Lives Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) is called to the hospital to deliver Lani Grant’s (Sal Stowers) twins. Kayla comes to get Eli when Lani’s labor progresses. With Eli by her side, Lani delivers a little girl followed by her son. Lani and Eli hold their babies and talks about her fear. Lani says their son was there with her when she delivered the twins. Lani asks if Eli thinks she is crazy.

Eli says no, he thinks they are blessed. Eli knows their son is watching over them like he was today. Eli says their son was there to let them know everything would be ok. Joey tells his parents he’s going to Seattle but they can visit each other. Steve and Kayla are going to miss Joey. Steve and Kayla agree that they are going to be ok. Eli doesn’t think this is going to be easy. Lani tells Eli they got this and they wish each other Merry Christmas.

Valerie And Abe Meet Their Grandbabies

Days of Our Lives Valerie Grant (Vanessa Williams) has arrived for the birth of the babies. Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Valerie join Eli before waiting patiently for Kayla to give them the news. Kayla goes out and delivers the good news to Abe and Valerie who immediately visit their grandchildren. Abe is so proud of Lani. Abe asks if Lani forgives him too, she says yes. Abe and Valerie offer to babysit. Abe asks what the babies’ names are, they don’t know yet. Kayla reads the Christmas story.

Sami Learns Of Allie’s Rape

Days of Our Lives Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Lucas Roberts (Bryan Dattilo) arrive at the pub. Steve says that is a beautiful baby boy. Steve still denies the baby being his grandson. Joey and Steve leave for the hospital. Lucas takes off. Roman is about to video chat with Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). Roman says too much and leads Sami to demand answers.

Allie is left to explain to her mother that she was raped. Sami is stunned to find out that Allie was raped. Allie tells Sami that Tripp raped her. Sami is furious to learn who did this. Allie says she’s a lot like Sami. Allie knows she can lean on her family. Sami asks what she can do to help. Allie just wants Sami to continue to love her little boy. Roman asks Allie where her dad is but he’s not answering her. Allie says she will wait at the pub for him.
