NBC Days of Our Lives spoilers and recap for Thursday, July 16, 2020, reveal Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) tells Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) that she had twins. Ivan says the second baby wasn’t supposed to survive.

Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) is Stefan Dimera’s (Brandon Barash) twin. Jake has tried to contact his mother but can’t get her to answer. Jake calls the adoption agency for details. Jake tells them it turns out he was a sickly baby. Jake says Ivan is telling the truth. Gabi Dimera (Camila Banus) is devastated that Stefan is dead. Jake tries to comfort Gabi. Vivian tells Gabi this is a time to celebrate.

Gabi leaves and Jake goes after her. Vivian wants to get to know Jake. Vivian says she should have been there during Jake’s early childhood. Vivian plans to educate Jake. Ivan says they need to concentrate on her. Gabi talks to Stefano Dimera’s (Joe Mascolo) portrait. Jake arrives and asks if that is his father. Gabi thinks Jake is there for the money.

Jake is there because of Gabi. Vivian says her son needs her, Ivan says he does too. Vivian tried to apologize to Lani Price (Sal Stowers) but she didn’t buy it. Jake just wanted to make sure Gabi is ok. Gabi doesn’t need Jake’s pity and tells him to go. Gabi never wants to see that face again.

Days of Our Lives Ally Horton (Lindsay Arnold) tells Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) that this is why she didn’t want her mother to know about the baby. Marlena says it would come out eventually. Marlena tells Ally she’s tired of this dance. Marlena tells Ally this baby can’t be used in a tug of war. Marlena tells Ally to be a little more understanding. Lucas arrives and comforts Ally. Lucas and Ally look for Sami to talk. Marlena tells Ally to call if she needs her.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Will Horton Reconsiders Adoption

Days Of Our Lives Sonny Kiriakis (Freddy Smith) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) don’t want to go to the reception because of Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). Sonny is furious that Bonnie Lockhart (Judy Evans) is back in town. Will and Sonny think Bonnie came back for Lucas.

Will believes Sami won’t be as mad at him that way. Marlena calls Will and tells him Sami is in town. Marlena goes to see Will and tells him the whole story of the wedding. Will has a feeling that Sami will go ballistic. Sonny brings up the adoption. Will says they will be on her bad side.

Marlena says they should have seen this coming. Sonny asks how upset Sami was about the adoption. Marlena says Sami is about to find out that Will and Sonny want the baby. Will never tries to predict how his mother will react. Marlena believes Sami will react badly to Ally offering the baby to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). Will says Sami will push for them to adopt the baby. Will says Sami may want to move in with them if they adopt the baby.

Days of Our Lives Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) breaks up Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) fight. Nicole tries to tell Sami that Ally didn’t want her to know. Ally was afraid Sami would make it worse and she did. Eric sends Nicole upstairs and lights into Sami about her actions. Eric tells Sami that Ally threatened to leave town. Eric tells Sami that Ally told everyone Sami would make things worse and she did.

Sami apologizes to Eric for ruining the wedding. Eric tells Sami that Ally was afraid she would make things worse. Sami starts to make plans for the baby. Eric tells Sami this is Eric’s decision and she has a plan who she wants to raise her child. Sami wants to know who Ally wants to adopt her child. Lucas and Ally arrive. Ally asks if they had a food fight. Eric goes to get Nicole and let Sami talk to Lucas and Ally.

Ally doesn’t want her child growing up in all the drama. Lucas says he could have been a better father. Sami says this is on her. Ally isn’t trying to hurt Sami. Ally tells Sami she got a lecture from her grandmother. Sami got a lecture from Eric too. Sami knows what Ally is going through. Sami wants to make it up to Ally.

Sami says Ally doesn’t have to give up the baby. Sami tells Ally she has all kinds of support. Lucas tells Sami to stop and listen. Sami appreciates that Nicole has been there for Ally. Sami explains how the family loves Ally. Ally says she wants to give the baby to someone in the family. Ally tells Sami a man who she knows is a great father. Lucas pushes Ally to be honest. Ally tells Sami it’s Rafe.
