Lucas is worried about Ally Horton (Lindsay Arnold). Kate agrees with Ally’s decision to give up her child. Lucas explains that Will and Sonny want the baby. Kate says it wouldn’t be going to strangers. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) overhears and agrees. Lucas is furious and blames Rafe for Ally’s decision. Rafe explains what happened. Lucas tells Rafe that Will and Sonny want the baby. Rafe goes to speak to Ally and clear this up. Lucas wants to call Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) to stop Rafe from adopting the baby. Kate warns Lucas that he will lose Ally forever. Kate explains that Ally is like Sami.

Bonnie tells Justin he must have just known that Steve and Kayla would get back together. Bonnie plans to get Lucas back. Justin wants Bonnie to leave him alone. Bonnie walks into the square and sees Lucas.

Days of Our Lives Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) is upset that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) has boarded the plane. Steve changes his mind and stays in Salem. Steve asks Kayla where Justin is. Kayla explains that she and Justin never got married. Kayla confronts Steve about not being honest with her. Steve says he loves Kayla too much to leave. Kayla slaps Steve in the face when he explains he was rejoining the ISA.

Kayla says Justin wouldn’t have done this to her. Kayla asks Steve how long it would take that light to shine on him. Steve is sorry about how Justin feels but she still walked away. Kayla says Justin is the one that walked. Steve points out that she came after him because she still loves him.

Kayla says it’s like that damn song, “I Will Always Love You” but she’s not happy about it. Steve explains that he was just trying not to hurt her again. Kayla is mad at Steve and feels bad for Justin. Steve and Kayla hug and he assures her he loves her. Kayla asks Steve what now. Steve and Kayla decide to hop on a plane and go somewhere where they can be alone.
