Nicole tells Rafe the Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) has the kids. Nicole plans to go Christmas shopping. Rafe is stunned to learn the Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) is gone. Nicole thought this was going to be the best part of her and Eric’s marriage. Rafe tells Nicole about his and Hope Brady’s (Kristian Alfonso) almost reunion. Nicole is sorry about Rafe and Hope. Rafe asks how long Eric will be gone. Nicole and Rafe agree that it sometimes helps to talk. Rafe and Nicole promise to be there for each other if they need a friend.

Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) tells Tripp to stay. Everyone prepares for dinner and Kayla says the blessing. Steve joins and finishes. Steve toasts Kayla at the end. Everyone is happy to have Joey back home. Joey doesn’t know what he wants to do with his life. Tripp suggests school, Joey isn’t sure. Steve tells Joey he can work at Black Patch. Kayla says they are all together and need to enjoy the moment. Tripp wants to leave and go home to his mom. Tripp thanks Kayla for everything she has done for him. Kayla tells Tripp he doesn’t owe her any thanks. Steve walks Tripp home.

Days of Our Lives Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) tells Ava he moved to Salem for her. Ava wants an explanation. Charlie is keeping an eye on Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson). Charlie tells Ava that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Philip are trying to get him to get information on the other. Charlie says that Tripp isn’t being charged with Allie’s rape because it’s a he said, she said situation. Ava says Charlie did it. Charlie says him being in London at the time doesn’t prove anything.

Ava tells Charlie the DNA test does. Ava tells Charlie that Allie has a little boy. Ava asks if Charlie has any theories on how that could happen. Charlie accuses Tripp of being a rapist. Ava believes Tripp when he says he didn’t rape Allie. Charlie asks how Tripp explains the DNA. Ava says Tripp can’t but she can. Ava tells Charlie he and Tripp share DNA because they are brothers.
