Brady asks John if he had a good Christmas Eve cry. Belle asks if Brady is giving John a hard time. John can handle this emotional side of him. John goes to help Marlena. Shawn wants to marry Belle tonight.

Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) is supposed to be coming home for Christmas. Someone knocks and it turns out to be Will Horton (Chandler Massey). Will asks Allie for a ride to Marlena’s with her. Nicole brings the baby out for Will to see. Will apologizes to his sister again. Allie tells Will how glad she is to have Nicole. Allie and Will talk about the rape. Will invites Nicole to go with them to Marlena’s. Nicole keeps the baby and waits for her surprise. Nicole is ready for Eric’s arrival. Someone knocks and she answers the door.

Days of Our Lives Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) checks to make sure Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) is coming to her grandmother’s. Charlie has a gift for Claire. Charlie asks why John is crying. Claire tells him they are trying for a doover at the wedding. John welcomes Charlie. Everyone gathers for the wedding. Marlena begins the ceremony and Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) calls. Belle doesn’t want Marlena to answer the phone. Belle says she could be dead because of Sami. Shawn calms Belle. Marlena turns off her phone and proceeds with the wedding. Marlena asks if Belle has something to say, she does. Shawn and Belle both speak before repeating their vows. Marlena pronounces them man and wife.

John gets the champagne. Brady tells them they just missed the wedding. Brady asks about the baby, Allie says he’s home with Nicole. Claire introduces Charlie and Allie. Charlie is very shaken. Allie says Charlie seems familiar. Charlie plays off sick and leaves. Brady takes a family picture. John asks Claire where Charlie is. John is sad that Charlie had to leave. John and Marlena share a drink. John asks if Marlena is happy, she is. Marlena doesn’t think Belle would have gotten married if Sami had been there. John and Marlena discuss happy endings. John says a happy ending wouldn’t be so good without the hurdles. John says they have a lot more to get through. John is happy to share his life with Marlena. Shawn gives Belle a surprise gift. Allie tells Claire she feels she’s met Charlie before.

Ava promises not to tell anyone about Charlie’s crimes. Charlie leaves Ava by herself. Ava continues to try to get loose. Ava gets one arm loose and continues to try to untie herself. Ava makes it to the door only to run into Charlie.
