Gabi is annoyed with Rafe for his birthday wish. Gabi talks to Rafe about Hope Brady (ex-Kristian Alfonso). Rafe welcomes Gabi back home. Rafe suggests Gabi make her own happiness. Gabi says there is someone in the way. Gabi tells Rafe about Jake Dimera (Brandon Barash) and Kate Dimera (Lauren Koslow). Gabi rushes out to put her plan in motion. Gabi tells Jake he didn’t have to kiss Kate goodbye. Gabi tells Jake that hurts her feelings. Jake isn’t willing to play this game with Gabi. Gabi says Jake liked the kiss she gave him. Kate tells Jake that Gabi was crushed when she returned home. Kate tells Jake that Gabi still has feelings for him. Jake says he doesn’t have feelings for Gabi. Jake says Gabi is just being dramatic. Kate believes that Gabi is right. Jake offers to prove to Kate that she’s the only person he has feelings for. Jake is going over the numbers with Kate. Gabi shows up with the Gabi Chic proposal. Gabi refuses to leave unless Jake tells her to. Jake wants to look at the proposal. Kate says the proposal is just a ploy. Kate says this is more trouble than it’s worth. Kate kissing Jake before leaving for an appointment. Jake tells Gabi to leave he has to go to the office. Gabi asks Jake who he is trying to convince that this is just business. Gabi finally leaves.

Days Of Our Lives Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) speaks with Sarah Horton (Lindsay Godfrey) about Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). Nicole argues that Ava isn’t running the Vitali mob family. Nicole asks how Sarah knows this. Sarah tells Nicole that someone will get hurt. Nicole tells Ava everything Sarah has told her. Ava has to clear Tripp Dalton’s (Lucas Adams) name because she sent Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) to London to follow Tripp. Nicole says this could change everything. Ava asks Nicole to go to the station and find out what she can. Nicole promises to see what she can find out. Ava promises to think about what Nicole says. Nicole goes by Rafe’s house to talk to him. Rafe tells Nicole he is waiting on confirmation of Charlie’s whereabouts.

Days of Our Lives Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) steps out of Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) door and gets shot. Kristen Dimera (Stacy Haiduk) hears that shot and screams for Brady. Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) goes after the shooter. Chloe tells Kristen that Brady has been shot. Chloe begs Brady to live as Kristen continues to call. Brady arrives at the hospital and Sarah springs into action. Chloe tells Philip that he knows that gunshot was meant for him. Chloe blames herself for Brady getting shot. Chloe paces the floor wondering how she could do this to Brady.
Next on today’s Days of Our Lives recap, Philip blames himself for what has happened. Brady is stable and Sarah has removed the bullet. Sarah says the bullet was meant for Philip. Philip blames Xander Kiraikis (Paul Telfer). Sarah tells Philip that he better pray that Brady lives or Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) will never forgive him. Philip tells Ava that Angelo Vitali (Angelo Tiffe) put out a hit on him and Brady was shot. Chloe visits Brady and apologizes. Chloe never should have asked Brady to help and should have listened to him. Chloe talks about how good Brady has been to her. Kristen arrives and asks Chloe what she did to Brady.

Days of Our Lives Tony Dimera (Thaao Penghlis) arrives and tells Kristen that Jake has taken over as CEO of Dimera. Kristen needs Tony to find out what is going on. Tony tries to calm Kristen. Kristen says she’s going with Tony. Tony tells Kristen she can’t just walk out of prison. Kristen is frantic that her daughter is alone. Kristen needs to know what is going on with Brady. The guard comes in and demands to know what is going on. Tony tries to calm things down. Kristen grabs the guard’s gun and threatens to shoot Tony. The guard doesn’t believe Kristen will shoot her brother. Tony tries to talk Kristen down and it doesn’t work. Kristen insists on getting out of person now. Kristen has to be with Brady and their daughter.
