Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Tuesday, January 28, 2020, reveals Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) dreams about Lani Price (Sal Stowers). Gabi Dimera (Camilla Banus) asks what is up. Eli wants to set a wedding date.

Gabi wants a summer wedding. Eli suggests Valentine’s Day, Gabi agrees. Eli sees a text about Julie and asks what is going on. Gabi admits to talking to Julie about the wedding. Eli cannot wait to marry Gabi.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – J.J. Wants To Involve Theo

Days of Our Lives’ J.J. Deveraux (Casey Moss) brings Lani breakfast. J.J. wants to turn what information they have over to the police. Lani stops J.J. from leaving. Lani tells J.J. they cant go to the cops because Gabi could kill Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) before the cops could get to her. Lani is upset by this and the fact that J.J. agreed to be Eli’s best man.

J.J. explains that Eli put him on the spot in front of Gabi. Lani believes this can work to their advantage. J.J. wants to involve Theo Carver (Kyler Pettis), Lani disagrees. Lani and Eli show up to speak to J.J. who doesn’t want to let them in. J.J. tries to hint that he has a woman there, they leave. Lani is furious that they are getting married on Valentine’s Day.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Hope Confronts Rafe

Days of Our Lives’ Hope Brady/Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso) can’t find her cigarettes and wonders who took them. Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) is back in town and asks Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) what is going on with his mother. Gina doodles as she sits in her office. Shawn says his mom would not overlook. Shawn thinks he knows what is going on here. Hope storms into the room demanding to know if Rafe had been in her desk. Rafe gives her the cigarettes and tells her it is illegal to smoke in the building.

Hope threatens to fire Rafe and moves to leave when Shawn asks what is wrong with her. Hope sends Rafe out of the room and asks Shawn what Rafe has told him about her. Shawn says Rafe didn’t say anything about her at all. Shawn admits to Rafe showing him the file on Hope. Shawn wants to know what is going on with Hope.

Hope says Rafe doesn’t want to let go of her. Hope tries to say that Rafe doesn’t realize he’s her subordinate. Shawn invites Hope to lunch, she refuses. Shawn wants to take Hope to dinner tonight. Shawn knows Hope would only take up smoking if she was really stressed out. Hope seems distracted and Shawn realizes it. Shawn tells Rafe Hope’s story. Shawn says that woman isn’t his mother.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Steve Attacks Anna

Days of Our Lives’ John Black (Drake Hogestyn) is on the phone with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) when Stefano Dimera/Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) walks in. Steve overhears John talking about Stefano and breaks a glass in his hand. Steve starts toward John but startles him. Steve sends John downstairs to get something to eat. Steve pulls off his eye patch and goes into Stefano mode. Gina calls Stefano who says he almost killed John. Stefano says John is waiting for him in the cafeteria.

Stefano promises not to harm John in any way. Gina says Marlena is under police protection but she is tired of having her around. Gina agrees but her patience is wearing then. Steve joins John who is talking to Tony Dimera (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna Dimera (Leanne Hunley). John had called and asked Anna and Tony to meet them. Tony talks about not wanting anything to do with Stefano. Tony decided to give his shares to Chad Dimera (Billy Flynn). Anna doesn’t want Tony to have anything to do with Stefano, Anna says Stefano needs to be locked up like the animal he is. Stefano goes off on Anna and orders her to shut up. Marlena calls back and wants to talk to John about Hope.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Kate Confronts Gina

Days of Our Lives’ Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) joins Marlena at the pub. Kate is shocked to learn that Hope is protecting her. Kate says Hope should be concentrating on being the commissioner. Kate knows something about Hope that Marlena doesn’t. Kate tells Marlena that Rafe is worried about Hope. Kate warns Marlena to watch her back. Kate goes to the office and demands answers from Gina.
