NBC Days of Our Lives spoilers and recap for Wednesday, August 12, 2020, reveals Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) reads Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) letter. Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) is stunned that Allie wants Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) to raise her child. Sami blames Nicole for Allie disappearing. Sami isn’t going to let Nichole have her grandson. Eric goes on to read Allie’s note. Nicole finishes reading the note.

Days Of Our Lives Belle Black (Martha Madison) shows up to see Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) who isn’t there. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) tells Belle that Claire is babysitting for Eric and Nicole. Belle wants to get Claire back to Hong Kong. Marlena tells Belle that Claire won’t want to do that.

Belle thinks Claire is mad at her and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer). Marlena explains that Claire doesn’t want to go back. Marlena assures Belle that Claire will be fine. Belle wants to stay in Salem a while too. Claire asks Allie what she is going to do about the baby.

Allie tells Claire about holding the baby and making her final decision. Belle understands Allie’s reaction to her mother. Marlena hopes Sami and Belle can support each other. Belle starts to leave to look for Shawn. Sami arrives and tells Marlena and Belle what Allie has done. Marlena asks what made Allie change her mind. Belle promises to help any way she can. Sami wants Belle to keep Nicole from the baby.

Days of Our Lives Allie shocks Claire when she comes for her passport. Allie tells Claire everything that has happened. Allie isn’t going to let Sami raise her baby. Sami shows up at Eric’s apartment. Allie wants Eric to raise the baby as well. Sami tells Claire that she’s going to look for Allie. Claire stops her. Allie is glad she heard her mother. Allie is even more sure that Nicole and Eric need to raise her baby.

Claire asks Allie if she’s sure leaving town is the right thing to do. Allie felt something for her child. Allie says the thought of being responsible for another human is too much. Allie isn’t ready to raise that little boy. Claire tells Allie she would have the whole family to help. Claire gives Allie cash and food before she leaves. Claire is sorry to see Allie leave, they hug goodbye. Allie asks Claire to give the baby a kiss for her if she ever babysits for him. Allie leaves.

Days of Our Lives Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Kate Dimera (Lauren Koslow) finish their dinner. Kate offers to pay for dinner and invite Abe to go home with her to look at the contract. Abe says the contract looks good. Lucas arrives and tells Kate that Allie isn’t letting Will and Sonny have the baby.

Kate tells Sami she needs to stay out of her children’s business. Sami tells Lucas and Kate about Allie’s letter. Sami asks Kate not to give Allie any money. Kate says that Nicole is not what is best for that baby. Kate says Nicole is not a stable person. Lucas tries to call Allie.
