Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Wednesday, January 29, 2020, reveals Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) joins Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and asks if he talked to his other.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Shawn Has A Theory

Shawn tells Rafe he thinks he is talking to Princess Gina/Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso). Rafe knows this happened before. Shawn tells Rafe that Gina is dead but Hope has been brainwashed into thinking she was Gina before and that is what he thinks now. Shawn tells Rafe that Gina is obsessed with John. Gina wore a tiara and Gina smokes. Shawn says that the hug with his mom was forced. Shawn says Hope didn’t ask about her granddaughter. Shawn says this isn’t his mother.

Shawn believes Stefano is behind this switch. Shawn knows that Dr. Rolf (William Utay) was in town and is behind this. Rafe asks what they should do now. Shawn doesn’t want to go after Gina, she won’t go down without a fight. Shawn says Gina is a cold-blooded killer that has to be stopped. Shawn says they cannot barge in there without a plan. Rafe thanks Shawn for coming to help him. Rafe asks if Shawn is ready for the princess’s reign to end. Rafe and Shawn go to the office and Hope is gone. Shawn says they need to find his mom before Gina wrecks her life.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Gina Threatens Kate

Days of Our Lives’ Gina returns to Hope’s office where she is confronted by Kate Dimera (Lauren Koslow) who demands answers. Kate threatens to tell Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) the truth is Gina doesn’t talk to her. Gina says that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Steve Johnson/Stefano Dimera (Stephen Nichols) are searching for Stefano.

Kate knows Gina is about to do something to Marlena and demands to know what. Gina says that Stefano is obsessed with Marlena and sees this as the last chance to have her. Gina says she and John share a romantic past. Gina says John and Marlena will never see this coming. Gina threatens Kate when she threatens to expose her plans. Gina reminds Kate that Stefano is supposed to reward her. Kate would lose everything if she exposed Gina and Stefano. Gina says if Kate betrays them her friends can’t save her.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Marlena Shocks Kayla

Days of Our Lives’ Marlena tries to call John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) overhears. Marlena tells Kayla that John is out of town with Steve Johnson/Stefano Dimera (Stephen Nichols). Kayla says she didn’t know Steve had left town but she hopes their mission is successful. As far as Kayla is concerned, Steve can stay gone.

Marlena asks if Kayla means that. Kayla says there is nothing here for Steve anymore and he has moved on. Marlena explains that Steve doesn’t have another woman. Kayla says Steve meant what he said. Kayla thinks Steve lied to John. Kayla has made the choice to move on. Kayla has to go to a patient. Kayla thanks Marlena for telling her the truth. Marlena gets a message as well. Marlena arrives home and Hope pulls a gun on her.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Chad Wants Answers

Days of Our Lives’ Chad Dimera (Billy Flynn) confronts Kristen Dimera (Stacy Haiduk) and demands answers from her meeting with Stefano. Chad asks Kristen what Stefano said, she replies that it was a revealing encounter. Kristen says she hadn’t seen Stefano in a long time and almost didn’t recognize him. Chad asks why Stefano left. Kristen says Stefano was upset with her over her shares. Kristen says Stefano is disappointed because she turned him down and left.

Kristen says Stefano looked better than she expected after all he has been through. Kristen needs to go. Chad accuses Kristen of leaving something out. Chad wants to work with Kristen to get rid of Gabi Hernandez (Camilla Banus). Kristen needs to keep her stock neutral. Kristen says she is with the company to prove to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) that they belong together. Kristen refuses to help Chad. Chad stops by to talk to Kate about his talk with Kristen. Chad says Kristen isn’t telling the whole truth about Stefano.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – John Finds Stefano’s Ring

Days of Our Lives’ Anna Dimera (Leanne Hunley) rants about Stefano to Tony Dimera (Thaao Penghlis), John, and Steve. Anna talks about her last encounter with Stefano. Steve goes off on Anna and tells her to shut up. John tries to calm Steve down. Steve says he was sick of listening to Anna go on and on. Everyone wonders why Steve is sticking up for Stefano. Steve claims to be sticking up for common sense. Steve says they need to do something more productive than fight about Stefano.

Anna will never forgive Stefano for keeping her and Tony apart. Tony demands Steve apologize to Anna and he refuses. Steve talks about Anna shotting him the last time they went after Stefano. Steve says a bullet has never stopped Stefano before. Steve admits to admiring Stefano because he always comes back. Steve doesn’t want to litigate what Stefano has done in the past. Steve wants Tony to get out of the way. Steve says anna is unhinged.

Tony asks how Steve would feel he talked to Kayla like this. Kayla has her own life, Steve refuses to apologize to Anna. Tony and Anna leave and John wants answers from Steve. Steve doesn’t know what Tony sees in Anna. John defends Tony and Anna. Steve doesn’t want Tony’s help. Steve plans to check in with his contacts and insists on going alone. Steve wants to meet John back at the hotel. John returns to his room and realizes something is off. John searches Steve’s bag and finds Stefano’s ring. John asks what Steve is doing with Stefano’s ring.
