Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Rafe Hernandez Becomes Discouraged By A Number Of Recent Events
Rafe is not nearly old enough to consider retirement but retiring from law enforcement and looking for a new career – perhaps one where he can actually catch bad guys and see them actually punished – might be an option. There are several recent events that are causing him to feel let down by law enforcement and most of them relate to baby David Ridgeway (Kyler and Caleb Ends) who he has been struggling to adapt.
Days of Our Lives viewers will recall a recent episode when he found Milo Harp aka Orpheus (George Del Hoyo) in his home and he cuffed him, only to find out all his charges had been dropped! Rafe couldn’t even arrest him for breaking and entering, because apparently he had a key – probably copied by Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox, (Brock Kelly) his son, while he was living there and taking care of David as his “manny”!

Now their attorney turns out to be Orpheus’ daughter, Maddox’s sister, and she’s trying to adopt David, citing her rights as his paternal aunt! And Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) tells Rafe she’s got a good chance of winning because he can’t find any dirt on her – and has a child of her own!

How can the world be right any more when everything that used to be wrong becomes the thing to do and the right thing to do is forgotten? Why is law enforcement and in some cases even the trial courts letting criminals get away with their crimes and then become bulletproof? The world has turned upside down!
Days of Our Lives Spoilers This Week – Rafe Hernandez Hasn’t Given Up The Yet But He’s Thinking About It
Rafe hasn’t quite given up the ship or thrown the baby out with the bathwater just yet, but he’s certainly thinking about it! Even the good cops who bring the bad guys in time after time after time get tired of district attorneys making deals and judges saying not guilty when it’s plain that the perps are guilty as sin – and because of prison overcrowding?
Build new prisons, microchip them with trackable microchips like is done with animals – that way if they are on house arrest it’s not so easy to escape like they do cutting off ankle monitors or leaving cell phones behind so they’re not trackable. Then the special interest groups and the politicians start crying criminals have human rights and they can’t be chipped like dogs – why not?

Stefano DiMera (Stephen Nichols) never paid for any of his crimes – Orpheus never paid for any of his, at least not his more recent ones – Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) have wiggled out of more handcuffs than Rafe can shake a stick at! Maybe Rafe will go to law school and get on the other end of the legal game and work his way up to the prosecutor and maybe all the way to judge – maybe that would be a better way to make a difference!
