Days Of Our Lives Spoilers and Rumors: Sami Covering For Lucas Regarding Charlie’s Murder?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumours tease that Sami Brady (Allison Sweeney) has been behaving strangely ever since Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) found her in Charlie Tate’s (Michael Manning) apartment, along with Charlie’s corpse. Since she hadn’t told anyone that she was even going to be in Salem, Rafe guessed that Sami flew to Salem, killed Charlie and then planned to fly back home without anyone ever knowing she was in town. Unfortunately, Rafe saw her, so now she’s the prime suspect in Charlie’s murder.

And while is seems completely within the realm of possibilities that Sami killed Charlie, it seems more likely that she is protecting someone else who may have taken the law into their own hands and made sure that the man who raped Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) was finally punished since it didn’t look as if Charlie was going to face any legal repercussions for Charlie’s assault on Allie.

What if Sami has reason to believe Allie, and not Sami, killed Charlie. After having a baby, misidentifying Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) as her rapist and then seeing Charlie face to face and discovering that Charlie will most likely not be brought up on criminal charges may have motivated Allie to take Charlie’s life. Perhaps Sami witnessed Allie fleeing Charlie’s apartment and seeing that Charlie had been shot dead, believed her daughter Allie played judge, jury and executioner.

DOOL Spoilers – Did Lucas Horton Get So drunk That He Wanted To Kill Charlie Himself?

Viewers may remember not all that long ago when Tripp was still the main suspect of Allie’s rape, that Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) confronted Tripp and almost killed him. When neither he nor Allie ended up harming Tripp, Lucas was guilted by Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) for leading Allie to believe it was noble to take the law into her own hands. So when Lucas found out about Charlie not getting punished, he might have been already so drunk that he shot Charlie himself and wandered away and has no recollection of even being there.

There are plenty of other people with motive to kill Charlie, but Sami would only try to cover it up if she believed either Lucas or Sarah killed Charlie. And although she may not be romantically involved with Lucas, they have such a deep friendship that their bond will never be broken and if Lucas doesn’t remember killing someone, she certainly isn’t planning to bring that kind of pain to the father of two of Sami’s children. And while there are plenty other people with the motive to kill Charlie, Lucas or Allie would be the only two that Sami would protect even if it made her look even guiltier.
