In the winter promo released at the annual Day of Days event, Anna was giving Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) a stern warning. She bluntly tells the young woman that Gwen is not as nice as she seems. Did Anna see or hear something? Or does she actually have a history with the schemer?

DOOL spoilers reveal that the winter promo confirms that not only is Anna back but so are Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), Joey Johnson (James Lastovic), Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal), and Will Horton (Chandler Massey). We know from Penghlis’ social media posts that Tony will be joining forces with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and the two brothers are on some kind of mission. Now, this could have to do with DiMera Enterprises or it might be personal.

In the winter promo, Anna (Leann Hunley) gives Abigail a warning about Gwen. She tells her that Gwen is not as nice as she appears to be. However, the next scene shows Gwen and Abigail hugging each other. So, either she doesn’t believe Anna, Gwen has a very convincing excuse, or perhaps Abigail is playing games, too.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Gwen will use Chad’s insecurity to create problems in his marriage. She will make it seem like Abigail and Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) are sleeping together. In fact, Chad confronts his wife and asks if she is having an affair with Jake.

However, that isn’t all that Gwen does. She craftily places a mistletoe so it’s hanging above her and Chad on New Year’s Eve. Chad looks at the mistletoe, then at Gwen. Under normal circumstances, he wouldn’t betray Abigail. Unless he is convinced that Jake and Abigail are really having an affair.

Now, back to Anna’s warning about Gwen. How does she know that the nanny is up to no good? Does she see something or overhear a conversation? Maybe she catches Gwen talking to Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) portrait again. Another possibility is that Gwen and Anna have a history together. In that case, she might be a lot more connected to the town of Salem that we thought.
