She ends up “unproposing” to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor). Then, she asks Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) to marry her.

Fans were in for a shock and a laugh when Anna tried to make Tony jealous. She impulsively blurted out that she was marrying Roman. Of course, this wasn’t exactly true, but Roman went along with the ruse. Anna is emotional, spontaneous, unpredictable and tends to act before thinking.

Her plan to make Tony jealous didn’t exactly work the way she wanted it to. However, the couple did end up making up. Tony had to be honest with his one true love and tell her everything, including why he had to marry fake Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). As fans recall, Tony’s bride was actually his sister, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).

DOOL Spoilers – Thaao Penghlis’ Character Conflicted

Several weeks ago, it was revealed that Tony would have to make a choice. He either had to remain loyal to the Dimeras or live a simple life with Anna. Of course, he would prefer the second option. But DOOL spoilers for the week of October 14 tease he has a major announcement. Mr. Wei Shin (Michael Hagiwara) has offered Tony the CEO position. This isn’t a long-term gig, so something happens that causes Tony and Anna to leave Salem.

In fact, Thaao Penghlis answered a fan on Instagram a few weeks ago about the gig. He confirmed that his time on the daytime series is just temporary, so don’t expect Tony to be sticking around. Fans will have to keep watching to see how this storyline unfolds.
