DOOL spoilers reveal that it was known that Jake has some sort of association with the mob. It was the whole reason why Gabi was kidnapped. As fans may recall from when Jake first came to Salem, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O-Brien) stole a book that was valuable to the mob, as well as incriminating.

However, Jake’s association with the mob wasn’t mentioned again until he began asking Ava questions about her involvement. Ava claimed that she was done with the family business but fans are divided on whether that’s true or not.

Jake admitted to Gabi that he used to beat people up for the mob. However, it’s clear that Jake might have done more than just beat them. Jake probably doesn’t think that his past will come back to haunt him. However, Ava is a Vitali and was very much a part of the mob until recently. So, she knows quite a bit about all the crimes that Jake committed and that could pose a real problem for “Jabriella.”

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Ava and Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) strike a deal. Ava will continue feeding Philip information about Jake and Gabi. In exchange, Gabi could be blindsided when her boutique suddenly changes ownership. Gabi can’t stand Ava and her boutique is her baby. So, if it’s suddenly given to Ava, that will certainly light a fire under Gabi.

DOOL Spoilers – Coerced Betrayal?

Ava might not be able to get new information about Jake and Gabi. However, she could use some old intel that could force Jake to make a shocking decision. It all has to do with Jake’s history with the mob and the crimes that he committed for the Vitali family. Even though Jake loves Gabi, he might love his freedom more. Could Ava actually threaten to give the police proof of Jake’s past crimes? If so, there might be only one way for Jake to avoid prison and that’s by betraying the woman he loves.
