Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of November 16 reveal in Salem that everyone thinks Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) is dead. Even though she needs to lay low because of the criminal charges hanging over her undead dead, she makes one appearance. She shows up at Steve “Patch” Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) house and has something to say.

DOOL spoilers reveal that Ava is supposed to be dead, but she is alive and well. While she’s been non-dead, Ava has been doing work for her mobster family, which is actually what brings her to town. The Vitali family gave Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) money to cover his gambling losses. When he couldn’t pay it back, an alternative arrangement was made, which explains the money laundering scheme.

When Ava (Tamara Braun) threatens Philip, he makes a comment about why she’s really in Salem. She doesn’t react to him bringing up Ava’s personal life. However, Philip is absolutely right and Steve is going to get a surprise visitor. Of course, considering the history between them, Steve (Stephen Nichols) isn’t going to be happy to see her.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Philip brought up another element of Ava’s personal life… her son, Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams). The child was taken from her and sold on the black market. So, she never had the opportunity to raise her son, let alone get to know him. Even though Ava isn’t exactly the maternal type, she does crave that connection. It turns out that she isn’t the only one, as Tripp admitted to Steve that he wished he had his mother.

When Ava faces Steve, she is going to want to see her son. That is when the villain will find out that Tripp is in trouble. In Ava’s mind, she will think this is the perfect opportunity for her to prove her maternal worth. She also won’t hesitate to take care of Tripp’s problem, which is Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold).

Now, Tripp wants his name to be cleared and for the truth to come out about Allie’s baby, Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox). However, Ava is more interested in getting rid of the problem altogether. What she doesn’t count on is that Allie might seem like a weak, submissive, and passive girl. But when the new mother is threatened, her “inner Sami” Brady (Alison Sweeney) is going to come out.
