Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Ava’s Desperation, EJ’s Devastation-Fiery Crash Kills Susan?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feurreriegel) feud will come to a deadly head. As a result, Ava’s car, with Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) tied up in the bank, will careen off a cliff, ending in a fiery explosion!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers –  EJ DiMera Decides To Pay The Ransom

Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) finally talks EJ into paying Ava the ransom that will set his mother Susan free, but urges him to take caution in going to meet Ava. EJ remains arrogant and thinks he’s got the whole thing under control, but Tony warns him Ava is unstable and not to be trusted. No one has any idea exactly HOW unstable Ava is – she’s hallucinating her dead son Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning) and she’s letting him call all the shots.

Charlie keeps pushing Ava to kill Susan, even though Ava seems to be resistant to that idea. When Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) brings Susan, Ava tells him to kill her, and when EJ hands her the money she gleefully tells him Susan’s dead.

DOOL Spoilers – Not Dead Yet

EJ is in a state between shock and rage, not knowing whether to believe Ava or not, but they’re both shocked when Susan rushes into the room. Xander didn’t have the heart to kill Susan, and of course Ava’s not happy with her henchman; she points a gun to Susan’s head and leads her away.

Susan’s telling EJ not to do anything stupid, and Ava is telling EJ if he does something stupid she’ll kill her, and EJ’s in between a rock and a hard place.

He has no choice and watches helplessly as Ava drags Susan away with her to an uncertain fate, and sees her stuff his mother in the back of her car. EJ thinks better of his actions and gets in his car, and chases Ava in hot pursuit, hoping to rescue Susan from the madwoman.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Charlie Dale Dares Ava Vitali

As the chase ramps up on dark country roads, ghost Charlie continues to taunt Ava, daring her to drive off a cliff because there’s no other way out. EJ watches in horror as Ava suddenly swerves off the road and her car plummets off the cliff to the rocks below. EJ stops his car, jumps out and runs to the edge, watching the car tumble as he shouts to Susan, feeling helpless to do anything for her at this point.

Suddenly, the car bursts into flames in a terrible explosion, and EJ can’t tell if anyone jumped out or anyone survived. EJ makes a terrible realization that if his mother dies, it’s because of his own ego and starts to blame himself, considering what, if anything, he could have done differently.
