Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will have a disturbing encounter in the DiMera crypt. Likely, she’ll go to feel close to Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) by visiting his memorial plaque, but might she find Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) puzzling over Jake’s plaque when she visits?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Stefan DiMera Doesn’t Know

When Stefan unexpectedly awakened in Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) lab the last time, Rolf explained what had happened to him and how long he’d been dead. But what Rolf didn’t tell Stefan is that after he died and then was whisked away to the secret lab and given an artificial heart is that he had a twin. Jake never knew he had a twin and even their mother Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) didn’t know, since her manservant Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) had separated her twins at birth.

Jake barely got to know his birth mother before she was arrested and put in prison, and hadn’t had anything to do with her since. It’s doubtful she was even informed of his murder, although Stefan had become well acquainted with her and loved her.

DOOL Spoilers – Stefan DiMera Woken Again

Stefan broke out of the lab and went to look for his wife, Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) but ran into Ava instead, who fainted in his arms mistaking him for Jake. Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) soon caught up to him and knocked him out, Rolf then bringing him back to the lab. Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) then ordered Rolf to reprogram Stefan’s brain and memories, erasing those of Gabi and restoring those of his short romance with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). But now, Stefan, reprogrammed would still go back to the DiMera mansion and likely the crypt, to pay respects to his father who he never knew, Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo).

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Who’s Jake DiMera?

When Ava and Stefan collide in the crypt on Days of Our Lives, both will be confused but Stefan may already be there trying to figure out who Jake was. It won’t be difficult for Stefan to realize he has a very recently deceased twin by the birth and death dates on the plaques. Ava will see him and again be shocked and possibly frightened, but he’ll realize this woman is his sister in law and explain he’s Stefan.

Ava could easily think the devil’s back in Salem masquerading as Jake’s dead twin until Stefan explains Rolf has brought several back to life. The two will be able to answer quite a few of each other’s questions and it’s a good chance they’ll bond as friends.
