DOOL spoilers reveal that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) reluctantly agreed to help Stefan. Now Stefan has gone to EJ for help before with this drug smuggling operation. However, EJ was not willing to help Stefan even though they technically are brothers.

Stefan mentioned how their father, Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo), would say that family is everything. when Stefan said that EJ paused. So, Stefan… as well as viewers… thought that EJ was going to help him flee the country.

Now what EJ did is he got Stefan a new identity and made arrangements to get him from Salem to North Korea.

However, that was the extent of the help EJ was willing to extend to his brother. Stefan then asked EJ to say goodbye to Gabi, the DA refused.

Ava will be serious about Stefan’s bombshell to Harris. It would be just like Ava to give Stefan a taste of his own medicine. Stefan has made it perfectly clear that without Gabi, he has nothing.

Now, remember, Stefan mentioned to Ava that he told Gabi about the fake affair. Gabi told Stefan to make sure it stays fake. When Gabi learns that Stefan and Ava actually slept together, she will explode.

So, could Ava go to the prison and tell Gabi the fake affair with Stefan was actually real? We can totally see Ave doing something like that. In fact, Gabi might be so furious she could just break out of prison to kill Stefan herself.
