Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Battle Over Jake’s Cursed Book? Xander Is Involved – Here’s How

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of June 15 reveal that the mob is allegedly after a priceless book. There is a reason why we think it has something to do with magic or the occult, which we’ll get into. But first, four Salemites battle for this book, it could explain the Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) mystery, and Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) is in possession of it!

Kiriakis Family’s History With Occult

DOOL fans may remember back a few years ago when Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) was part of the cast. He got involved in a cursed amulet storyline, and so did Xander, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), Gabi, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). There was this big battle over this coveted object and it eventually became part of a murder storyline.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I seem to remember there was a mention of a book at that time. It was never mentioned again, but it could finally come back into play next week.

DOOL Spoilers: Fighting Over A Book

If this book is somehow connected to the cursed amulet from years ago, then it is magical or part of the occult. Maybe this explains why Xander, Jake, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) are literally all playing tug-of-war with this book. Based on the preview photos published in the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, all four of them look really desperate to get that book.

Magical Properties?

Days of Our Lives spoilers don’t explain what is so special about this book, but it is definitely priceless to a lot of people. Perhaps this explains why it is teased in SOD that the “real” Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) comes back? Was she an imposter before? If so, was the old Stefan DiMera an imposter too? Is this occult or magical book somehow connected to Vivian and Stefan?

It isn’t explained just yet how Xander ended up with the book. But desperate circumstances and history with the occult and cursed objects can push a man to do anything. We know that Gwen (Emily O’Brien) stole it from Jake and now Xander has it, so do these people all know each other?

This may seem like a crazy theory, but head writer Ron Carlivati is known for his wild storylines. There are only so many people Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) can bring back from the dead before it has to be explained another way. So, would the soap really go as far as to bring back up cursed amulets and magical books? We will have to keep watching the NBC soap opera to find out.
