Just as Shawn was getting better and learning to cope with his father Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) being in a coma, he is now spiraling again.

His grandfather Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) plane crashed, and because the Greek tycoon blamed him for the condition Bo was in, Shawn is reeling.

Not to mention the fact that he and Victor hadn’t spoken in months or prior to his passing hints that Shawn-D will continue to turn to the bottle as he deals with this challenging time in his life.

Belle has been doing all she can to help him, but if Shawn doesn’t want to help himself, there is no hope.

As Shawn’s drinking has caused issues in his marriage, and Belle’s tried everything to get her hubby help and support, most fans can see where this storyline might be headed.

He got caught drinking on the job, but thankfully, made no mistakes that could hurt anyone while he was intoxicated.

If he continues to drink, work, and possibly drive, it may only be a matter of time before something terrible happens.

Even more so, actress Martha Madison has announced her departure from the soap opera, but Brandon Beemer, the actor who plays Shawn-D, has not.

Could it be that something happens where Belle exits storylines, but Shawn doesn’t? It’s hard not to think that he could cause a car collision with his wife in the vehicle, where she dies, but he survives.
