Tricked by Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) and the devil, one would think Belle would understand. However, she doesn’t and this sets up chaos on Shawn and Belle’s first wedding anniversary. Has evil managed to tear “Shelle” apart?

DOOL spoilers reveal that Jan is woken up by the devil to cause chaos in Salem. Specifically, Satan wants Jan to destroy Shawn and Belle. Jan is really excited about the chance to hurt Belle and get passionate with Shawn. Under normal circumstances, Shawn would never get in bed with Jan, but the devil has a solution to this problem. The evil entity makes Jan look and sound exactly like Belle. Madison explained to Soap Opera Digest,

“I was so excited, because I’ve always wanted to have a doppelganger. I feel like it’s a badge of honor as a soap actor to get to play more than one character, and Jan is one of the funniest characters on our show. It was really fun to get to play her, and Belle got to bring a little heat to her.”

DOOL Spoilers – Shawn Brady’s Judgment

Before the trickery, Shawn and Belle talk about their wedding anniversary and everything happening in Salem. Despite the chaos in town and Belle’s mother missing and possessed, the couple makes a promise. They will find a way to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. So, when Shawn is summoned home and finds Belle wearing a skimpy Mrs. Claus outfit, he doesn’t think anything is odd.

Now, there are a few moments when “Belle” says or does something that is out of character. Shawn does start to question who he is looking at. After all, the devil can make itself look like anyone. So, fake Belle has to work hard to convince Shawn she just wants to celebrate their anniversary and he gives in.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that the real Belle walks in and sees her carbon copy in bed with Shawn. Even though there is confusion at first, Shawn soon realizes that he’s been bamboozled. Shawn tries to explain, but Belle is unforgiving. In Belle’s mind, Shawn should have sensed that it wasn’t really her. So, it seems that the devil and Jan have succeeded in tearing “Shelle” apart.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Anniversary and Separation?

Even though Jan’s trickery does cause problems for Belle and Shawn, don’t expect them to get divorced. Eventually, Belle will realize that the devil can be convincing. Shawn didn’t intentionally betray Belle. He truly believed he was sleeping with his wife. It might take some time, but Belle and Shawn will get through this, just like they have overcome every other obstacle.
