In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, actress Victoria Konefal discussed Ciara telling Ben that his final appeal was denied.

“Filming those scenes with Rob was incredible because he would let his world crumble in a very silent way. A lot of his focus is just on Ciara. His reaction to the news is very selfless. It is more, ‘Oh God. I’m not going to be there for Ciara’ versus ‘Oh, my goodness, I’m on death row and my appeal was denied.’ It is very much a moment between them.”
