Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Ben Weston To The Rescue – Can He Prove Stefan Isn’t Ted’s Killer

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Stefan DiMera, (Brandon Barash), now the prime suspect in the murder of Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini), will ask Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) to look into Ted’s death this week on Days of Our Lives; and Ben, too will think there’s something fishy!

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Stefan Was Framed By Kristen For Ted’s Kidnapping But Not For His Murder

Even though it turns out that Ted’s death was accidental, after he grabbed Kristen’s gun and got in a wrestling match over it with Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and it went off, Kristen had to think quick what to do with the body. She wound up stuffing it in an old trunk, and managed to get him over to his apartment where she entered with a key, probably a skeleton key, and hoisted him out onto the floor. She then decided to make it look like a robbery gone wrong, and found the money and the diamond necklace and took them!

Stefan, Mayor Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and newly appointed Commissioner Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) were all on their way to Ted’s apartment at the same time, and so Stefan found Ted and had picked up the gun at exactly the wrong time, when Jack and Eli came in through the open door! It couldn’t have worked out better than if she’d planned it, however, for Kristen!

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Prior To His Finding “Dead Ted”, Stefan Had Talked To Hope

Prior to his finding “Dead Ted”, Stefan had talked to Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) who he told the same thing as he had left on a phone message to Eli, that Ted and Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) were lying about his kidnapping them and that he was sure that “Nicole Walker” (Adrienne Zucker) was somehow involved. He didn’t expect Hope to believe him but actually she did because she was also suspicious of their stories and she told him so.

Hope may be a help to Stefan and to Ben when he starts investigating Ted’s death, because she was still in the vicinity when Kristen, disguised only in a scarf and sunglasses happened to drop a one hundred dollar bill when she dropped the diamond necklace in a garbage can and hid it in among what sounded like a discarded paper bag rustling. Hope in fact stopped her, letting her know that she’d dropped a one hundred dollar bill! Naturally, Kristen wiggled out of that situation but after she moved on, Hope’s detective instincts kicked in and she dug around in the garbage can and found the necklace!

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall Hope also had found Ted’s money stash and now that she has the necklace, will wonder if that hundred was part of his stash once she finds out he’s been murdered!

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Hope And Ben Working Together To Solve A Case? “Who’da Thunk It?”

Several months ago, Days of Our Lives viewers (and Hope herself) would never have dreamed that Hope and Ben would be working together to solve a murder case! Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) will also join in, and other Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Hope will recruit John Black (Drake Hogestyn) to help as well, although Ben and Ciara’s focus will be more to clear Stefan and Hope and John’s will be to solve Ted’s murder whether Stefan is on their radar or not.

After all, Hope noticed Stefan looked ready to kill that day and Stefan said, not meaning it literally, that he would make Ted talk if it were the last thing he did….which could be taken as the last thing Ted did as well as the last thing Stefan did!
