Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Brady Dumbstruck By Xander’s Apology, But Is It Sincere?

After touching Sarah with a new headstone for her baby, Xander moves on to Brady. He makes what appears to be a sincere and heartfelt apology for what happened with the baby switch. However, is he being sincere, or is this just to get back to Sarah?

Apologizing To Brady Black

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Xander approaches Brady and wants to talk to him. He begins to apologize for everything he’s done to Brady and his loved ones. Especially the baby switch and for the pain, he caused him and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). Brady is baffled by this apology. However, he also knows how schemeful and manipulative Xander can be.

Martsolf explained to the publication that Xander really seems sincere. However, he knows the kind of man Xander is and just isn’t sure whether to believe him.

“Brady’s skeptical of Xander’s apologetic nature. He knows Xander all too well. Brady’s not going to let him off the hook that easily… I believe Brady feels that Xander is being sincere, but you have to remember that this is a guy who shot Brady in the liver in Canada and left him to die on the floor.”

Is Forgiveness Possible?

Martsolf also explained that one can be furious with another human being but still believe their apology is sincere. So while Brady and Xander’s relationship is a tense and complicated one, there is room for forgiveness in the future.

After all, head writer Ron Carlivati loves redeeming villains and Xander is no exception. It seems even more possible since it is teased that Sarah eventually forgives Xander and the two get back together. So, we will have to keep watching the NBC soap opera to see how this storyline ends.
