Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Chad DiMera Has Been Brainwashed And Turned Into His Father’s Assassin

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that Stefano DiMera (Stephen Nichols) has been spiking Chad’s drinks with an unknown substance for several days now, sneaking in and out of the DiMera mansion through the tunnels. The substance apparently is an aid to brainwashing, as Chad now hears his father speaking orders to him in his head, and his first assignment from Stefano is to assassinate Gabi Hernandez DiMera because Stefano doesn’t want her interfering with his companies and doesn’t want her interfering with his taking the leadership role.

It is not enough that Chad got her fired, Stefano wants to get rid of her permanently, and gives Chad the order to kill her by any means necessary! Chad wants to please his father – and since parts of Chad are broken, feeling a sense of loyalty to the family he’s never really head, he is easy to manipulate and brainwash and Stefano has taken full advantage of that fact. Even though Stefano is now in Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) body, Chad knows in his heart and mind that it’s really his father with a different, younger, stronger body.

DOOL Spoilers – Chad DiMera Goes To Salem University Hospital To Carry Out His Father’s Deadly Plan

Chad heads out to Salem University Hospital, where Gabi is recovering from donating bone marrow for baby Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton (Camila Banus) and goes to her room. He is very much under the control and brainwashing of Stefano, as even though Chad may have wanted to strangle Gabi or kill her in some other manner – as half the town of Salem also has – and maybe even fantasized about doing it, he never would have followed through with it!

Gabi has been nothing but trouble for Chad and his family for quite some time, even gaslighting Abigail DiMera (Kate Mansi) into thinking she was insane and tampering with the paternity test for their daughter, where it showed Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) as her father instead of Chad! Chad does not have any certain plan as to how he is going to kill her, as he is waiting on his father’s orders to come to his mind – and when he sees Gabi in her hospital bed, possibly asleep, he decides on a weapon of convenience – a big, fat, fluffy pillow!

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Chad DiMera Attempts To Smother Gabi Hernandez DiMera With Her Hospital Pillow

Chad attempts to smother Gabi with her hospital pillow, likely finding her asleep in her hospital bed because she certainly would scream and fight to see the pillow coming down on her face, and it’s pretty difficult to smother someone who is kicking, hitting, squirming, flailing, and fighting and screaming if she sees him coming!

Unfortunately for Chad and Stefano, but fortunately for Gabi, her big brother Police Commissioner Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) decides to come to visit his little sister, so before Chad gets very far with the plan, he’s interrupted!
