DOOL spoilers reveal that fans were dealt a blow when Stefan was shot by Lani Price (Sal Stowers). It was an accident, but that didn’t ease Gabi’s pain. As fans recall, Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) told Gabi that giving Stefan the resurrection injection would be pointless because he was brain-dead. Not only that, but his heart was given to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), so how is Stefan’s return possible?

In two weeks, Gabi will be thoughtfully gazing in the storefront window of her store, Gabi Chic. In the reflection of the glass, she sees something surprising. It is the image of her dead husband, Stefan. She sees his face, says his name, but when he turns around, the man vanishes.

A few weeks ago, head writer Ron Carlivati told Soap Opera Digest that Gabi seeing Stefan would set up on a brand new storyline, and it would be a journey for the character. However, he wouldn’t reveal if it was really Stefan or not.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Has Wicked Widow Finally Lost Her Mind?

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that there are really only two possibilities here. That it’s not really Stefan, but a lookalike. After all, look at Tony DiMera and Andre DiMera (both portrayed by Thaao Penghlis). It was previously teased that a new DiMera could arrive in Salem, and this man could be him and just happen to look exactly like Stefan. Those DiMera genes do tend to be pretty strong.

The other possibility is that Gabi has finally lost her mind and is hallucinating seeing Stefan. When her evil scheme went belly up, she lost everything. Maybe it’s time for her to have a mental health storyline and for her to really deal with Stefan’s death.

According to the Facebook page Days of Our Lives Past, Present, and Future, expect to see Barash on April 23. It’s possible we could see him earlier, but that is the date when Gabi sees her dead husband for the first time.
