Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Brock Kelly Dishes On Orpheus and Evan – ‘Very Cold’ Relationship

DOOL Brock Kelly as Evan Frears

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal Orpheus (George DelHoyo) is alive and well. It turns out that the supervillain is Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox’s (Brock Kelly) biological father. During an interview, Kelly discussed the storyline and explained the “very cold” relationship between the two characters.

DOOL spoilers previously hinted that Evan had more of a connection to Salem than just David Ridgeway (Caleb and Kyler Ends). It is confirmed that his father is Orpheus. The man is considered a supervillain and has done some horrific acts. So, it should come as too much of a surprise that Orpheus’ relationship with Evan is “very cold.”

Even though the father and son are estranged, Orpheus is the person that Evan calls whenever he finds himself in trouble. It sounds like Orpheus saving his son might be a common occurrence.

DOOL Spoilers: Evan Frears Out of Options

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, actor Brock Kelly explained that Evan is backed into a corner. He is completely out of options and needs help. He tried to avoid calling his father, resorting instead to beg Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) by gunpoint to run away with him and David.

However, that plan failed and now he has to deal with his sinister father, who comes to Salem to offer his assistance.

Orpheus Always One Step Ahead

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that even though Orpheus, Evan, and David are in a hotel room, the supervillain has already anticipated Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) next move. By the time the authorities burst in, they find only Evan sitting there.

“Evan’s dad is many steps ahead of everybody else because he’s been trained to be. And he’s taught Evan to think a few steps ahead, too, so he’s able to cover for himself.”

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Fight to the Death?

It is suggested that for this storyline to end, someone might have to die. Kelly explained that both Rafe and Evan think they have rights as David’s father. For Rafe, it’s because he has taken care of him and is adopting the boy. For Evan, it’s because that is his biological son.

“They both think they’re right and are going to keep going at it until one of them drops.”

Was Kelly referring to one of them dropping dead? Fans will have to keep watching the NBC soap opera to see how this storyline develops.
