Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Mourning Abigail DiMera

JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) is back in Salem to say goodbye to his sister as Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) mourn and bid farewell to their daughter.

While JJ can’t believe that his father is still defending Gwen Rizcech (Emily O’Brien), who some believe may have killed Abby (Marci Miller), calling her ‘Gwenzilla,’ Abigail’s husband Chad DiMera spirals down a hole filled with vengeance, even with Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) now there to comfort him and lend their support.

He can barely even accept her being buried and just wants to know who killed her. While this whodunit will likely go on for quite a while, bumbling cop Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) thinks he has a break in the case and tells Chad what is going on. That might not have been the best idea for Rafe considering Chad’s reaction.

DOOL Spoilers – Chad DiMera Goes Ballistic

When Chad is down at the Salem PD, Rafe informs Chad they may have a suspect and Chad wants first dibs at whoever it is, with the only thing on his mind being payback and revenge.

“Chad sees red,” actor Billy Flynn said in the July 12, 2022, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “He envisions how [the murder] happened and is ready to kill that person [he thinks did it]. He is judge, jury, and executioner.”

Even if Rafe has the wrong person, which is actually highly likely considering this is Rafe, Chad doesn’t care. When the right person is found, he will spring into action. “He is 100% consumed by this,” Flynn said. “It takes over everything. You’ll see this play out as the story goes on. He’s consumed by revenge. He wants to find out who did this, and once he does, he’s going to make them pay.”

So far, the suspects in Abigail’s murder are Gwen, Lucas Horton (Bryan R. Dattilo), and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), but nobody should ever rule out Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).
