DOOL spoilers reveal that on Friday’s episode, Chad found himself sitting next to someone who was complaining about Gabi. It was none other than Gwen. Remember, Chad was just informed that his brother, Stefan DiMera, is still alive. However, he doesn’t seem to be aware that it’s not really Stefan, but his twin.

What Chad and Gwen talked about was not shown on-screen, but it’s clear that it had to be about the DiMera money. We know this because Soap Opera Digest confirms that Gwen brings up the money the next time she sees Jake.

Speaking to the magazine about the twist in the storyline, Barash explained that Jake really doesn’t care about the money. He wants to be financially comfortable and not to have to worry about the mob. But aside from that, he really doesn’t care about being rich. However, Gwen is a completely different story.

Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that Chad is trying to cut Gabi out by using Gwen and Jake. In his mind, Gwen will let Jake know he is a rich man and he would be easier to beat than Gabi. However, Chad doesn’t realize that Jake has no interest in the DiMera money or power. So, this could go one of three ways.

DOOL Spoilers Next Week – The Possibilities

One possibility is that Chad thinks Jake is Stefan and will reunite with Gabi. He could be using Gwen as a pawn in order to trick Jake. Then, there is the chance that Gwen and Gabi both pursuing Jake and the DiMera money will lead Chad to make him an irresistible offer: let him buy out Jake’s portion and all his problems are gone. But all of these would be too easy for Chad.

Of course, Chad’s plan could backfire. What if Gwen and Gabi will work together in order to get their hands on the fortune? That way, it doesn’t matter which woman Jake chooses, because they will both have a share of the money. For Gwen, she wants the finances. But Gabi, she wants the power, position, and prestige. But where does this leave Chad and Jake?
