DOOL spoilers reveal that there are a few factors that determine the judge’s decision in EJ’s trial. Lucas and Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) testimonies both play a factor. Of course, Chad was going to tell the truth until Johnny DiMera aka “JoDevil” (Carson Boatman) got involved. Then, there was EJ flying into a rage and issuing death threats in the courtroom.

Despite Belle Brady’s (Martha Madison) best efforts, she loses the case. EJ is found guilty and is sentenced. Even though the judge has already issued a verdict, there might still be hope for EJ.

It is teased that during the week of January 24, Chloe overhears a telling conversation. There are a lot of secrets swirling around Salem right now. However, Chloe and Lucas have a romantic history together. Lucas and Sami DiMera (Alison Sweeney) tried to trick Chloe into leaving Salem. Lucas and Chloe recently shared a scene together. Plus, Chloe and Belle are close friends. So, it seems likely that Chloe overhears Lucas talking about framing EJ.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Belle doesn’t lose cases very often. Belle is a master in the legal field, which is why DiMera Enterprises grabbed her when they could. It’s also the reason why EJ insisted on Belle representing him. So, Chloe telling Belle about what she overheard could change everything for EJ.

When EJ’s innocence is proven, then Lucas will be exposed as the real kidnapper. However, will he pay the price? Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) already made sure Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) didn’t go to prison. So, Kate will likely protect her other son, too.

It is speculated that Lucas ends up going on the run when the truth comes out. Kate might make sure that Lucas can escape. However, what about Roman Brady (Josh Taylor)? Kate promised no more secrets to Roman. If Kate keeps this promise, will Roman lie to protect the woman he loves? Or could Roman’s law enforcement past compel him to share what he knows?

      The Keystone Kops aka Salem PD, couldn't find their way out of an OPENED paper bag! The stupid "Satan" story has dragged on and on and on. Yet, EJ's arrested, tried and convicted in less than 2 WEEKS? Satan controlled Marlena for months and months and months, yet NO ONE put 2 and 2 together. Now, we have Johnny being completely out of character, and again, Stepford Salemites, just smile, humming happily all over Horton Square. This show SUCKS! The writer's ruined the show! It jumped the shark about 5 years ago.
