Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Kate Roberts Decides To Move Forward On A Declaration Of Death

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall from a recent Days of Our Lives episode, Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) had tried to get Salem Police Commissioner Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to arrest Brady for Philip Kiriakis’ (Jay Kenneth Johnson) death. But Rafe had told him that there wasn’t enough evidence to make a case, even though they had Philip’s prosthetic leg and a DNA match on the blood on the knife found by Brady by Chloe next to the riverbank.

There would have to be either a body or a declaration of death, and even though in real life it would take much longer – usually seven years – in soapland, where Salem is, it can take much less longer! Days of Our Lives viewers will see Kate decide to pursue a formal declaration of death so that Brady can be prosecuted for Philip’s death! Of course, District Attorney Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) has been chomping at the bit to get a slam dunk prosecution case so she has probably been egging her on for a legal declaration of death!

DOOL Spoilers – Brady Remembered Some Things And Told Them To Belle Black And Chloe Lane

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that Brady remembered some things about the day he was later found, apparently quite drunk, and unconscious by Chloe at the riverbank. Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that one of those things was that his son Tate Black (Colin and Kyle Shroeder) had called him. Viewers will recall that right after he got done with the call, Philip came up and knocked him out with a crowbar and dragged him down to the river, and planted his cell phone in Brady’s pocket, and the knife, and apparently either took off his leg or has a new one that Kate didn’t know about.

It would not be entirely out of reason for Philip to have a spare in case of a malfunction! He tells both his sister Belle Brady (Martha Madison) who is also his attorney, and Chloe of what he’s remembered. Chloe had also tried to help Brady remember more details. He had also remembered everything going black right after he had talked to his little boy!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Chloe Lane Pressures Kate Robert To Reverse Her Decision

Days of Our Lives viewers will remember that both Kate and Philip’s father, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) had to make a difficult decision. Days of Our Lives viewers can imagine that it was very difficult for the heartbroken parents to make the decision to have their son declared dead – he was Victor’s only son, but both he and Kate wanted swift justice for the presumed murderer. It was more difficult for Victor because Brady is his grandson – but all the evidence collected so far points to him as the murderer.

Brady had no way to prove he didn’t send the threatening texts found on both his phone and Philip’s, and no way to disprove that he spent $72.00 on whiskey at the Brady Pub that night. He certainly had no way to disprove that he didn’t stab Philip and throw him in the river, although all that’s been found is the leg! Philip may or may not have survived being thrown in the river depending on where the stab wound or wounds were. But Brady, with what details he has remembered, won Chloe’s confidence in him that he didn’t kill Philip, and Chloe pressures Kate hard to reverse her decision. Victor’s a much tougher nut to crack, so she starts with Kate!
