Except for Chloe getting hurt, Brady gets mistaken for Philip.

It is at this moment when Chloe realizes that Brady was right and even if he weren’t, he was just trying to keep her safe. Chloe rushes to her ex-husband’s side and makes a desperate plea for him not to die, Bjorlin told Soap Opera Digest, “… Chloe feels like this is all her fault and her doing because she insisted on helping Philip and not heeding Brady’s warnings. She’s regretting all of that and feels she should have listened to Brady and just pleads with him not to die.”

After Chloe’s crazed jealous reaction over the New Year’s Eve kiss, Brady lied and told Kristen he wasn’t hanging out with Chloe. But that lie unravels when Chloe takes the phone.
