DOOL spoilers reveal that Claire doesn’t get released from Bayview because it’s the right time or because she’s all better. Claire ends up calling Marlena and making a desperate plea for her help. We don’t know what she says or the urgency, but the young woman needs to get out of the hospital as soon as possible.

It is teased that Marlena must agree to help Claire because she is granted early release. This isn’t the type of decision that the psychiatric hospital makes lightly. But if Claire plays her cards right, expresses remorse, and seems of clear mind, then there is no reason to keep her. We won’t know for a bit if that turns out to be a mistake, though.

Marlena obviously has good intentions with Claire, but the young woman is also a master manipulator. Could Salem’s favorite psychiatric end up regretting her decision to help Claire get released early?

How will her friendship with Jake Lambert’s (Brandon Barash) ex-girlfriend, Gwen, affect Salem? We have a feeling it all gets twisted together in one massive plot. Gwen could just be an innocent young woman with ties to the mysterious mechanic. Or she could end up being far more dangerous than Claire — or anyone else — realizes.

What do you think is going to happen with Marlena, Claire, and Gwen? Can Jake’s ex-girlfriend be trusted or does she have ulterior motives to befriending Claire? To find out how this storyline ends, we will have to keep watching the NBC soap opera.
