Claire is now out and about in Salem, mingling freely in public and enjoying the fresh air and no doubt the non-institution food. But she has engendered some raised eyebrows with her behavior, and it’s not clear whether she has been fully rehabilitated or is pulling an ingenious con.

For instance, immediately after her arrival at Grandma Doc’s (Deidre Hall) house, she disappeared. She absconded without telling anyone and Marlena had to track her down, sick with worry.

Claire was merely trying to get to Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) so that she could make amends, or so she said!

Ciara had a hard time believing most of what Claire said. Claire also went out on a limb with a nervy demand to be in Ciara’s wedding as the maid of honor. Supposedly this would show that Ciara has forgiven her for trying to make human s’ mores out of her relative.
