Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that if Days of Our Lives writers were to do a little behind bars matchmaking, they could really create a dynamic deadly duo; just imagine Clyde Weston (James Read) and Hattie Adams (Deidre Hall) – a match made in hell?

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Both Clyde Weston And Hattie Adams Seem To Be Cut From The Same Cloth

Clyde and Hattie seem to be cut from the same cloth, not necessarily in their criminal inclinations since Hattie seems to be more of a protector and Clyde a perpetrator at least inside the prison. They seem to come from similar backgrounds – but if they were to get together romantically, Hattie might just be the woman who has what it takes to keep Clyde in line! Both of them seem to be the type that likes to be in control – of others, whether they are in control of themselves or not is questionable!

DOOL Spoilers – Clyde Weston Is A Rowdy Old Redneck Country Boy And Hattie Adams Is A Rowdy Old Redneck Country Girl

Clyde is a rowdy old redneck country boy from Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Hattie sounds like she’s a country girl and just a tad rowdy as well – or “boorish” as Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) called her in her book! In respect to both Southerners and rednecks, Clyde sounds like he’s from a bit further south than Missouri, but he may have moved there from elsewhere.

Clyde is a drug lord – although Poplar Bluff is not all that big of a town – a terrorist, continued to be a drug lord in Salem an all around criminal, and “businessman”. Hattie has never been anything but a waitress and a doppelganger for Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). Hattie formerly worked with Anjelica Deveraux (Judith Chapman) and had gotten Marlena locked up in a mental institution so that she could take over her life and impersonate Marlena. That could be considered identity theft.

When John Black (Drake Hogestyn) followed the fake Marlena to the mental institution and saw the real Marlena, he tried to rescue her and that didn’t go so well – Hattie locked both of them up together! Then when Anjelica unexpectedly died, she dressed her up in Bonnie’s robe and put her in bed next to a passed out Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo)! If she and Clyde were to team up personally, not just for criminal purposes, he’d best mind his manners with Miss Hattie; if he gets on her wrong side, he’ll get much worse than a night in the doghouse!

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Clyde Weston Has A Reputation As A Wife Beater

Clyde has a reputation as a wife beater, a mean drunk, and a child molester – although “Tammy Sue” aka Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Hartley) was a teenager and Clyde was drunk. He would reason it only happened once and he doesn’t remember it because he was drunk!

That was when she took little Ben and went on the run! But then Jordan was two fries short of a happy meal anyway, so Clyde would think she way overreacted to his having a little fun! After all, she never told the authorities about that. But as proven from Hattie’s own history both inside and outside the confines of prison, she’s a gal who can take care of herself and others, and Clyde might get some serious bruises himself if he tried to beat on her!
