The demonic entity has plans for Ben Weston (Robert Scott Patrick) and Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) baby and has convinced the couple to go on the run with her. As long as the devil is around, Ben and Cira remain in grave danger. But perhaps they might find help in the most unlikely of people.

Clyde Weston (James Read), Ben’s father, is currently in prison for his numerous criminal endeavors. Although Ben has struggled to redeem himself, he truly does love his son. He may very well escape captivity soon in order to help Ben and Ciara. Although Ben and Ciara have no idea that Marlena has been possessed, Clyde may realize the truth after taking one look at Marlena. After all, evil can recognize evil.

DOOL Spoilers – The Devil Won’t Seen Clyde Weston As A Threat!

Given Clyde’s history, MarDevil won’t likely see Clyde as a threat to her plans. But it would be a huge mistake to underestimate Clyde’s love for Ben. Clyde knows that his treatment of Ben as a child is one of the reasons that Ben became the necktie killer and killed several women before he received treatment and medication. Clyde has a lot to make up for and he may get a chance, if he can help save Ben and Ciara’s baby from MarDevil’s plans for the infant.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Standoff!

Look for MarDevil to come face to face with Clyde. The devil may order Clyde to stay out of it, perhaps even threatening him with death and eternal suffering. But Clyde won’t back down. He knows that his sins will catch up to him and may decide to stand up against the devil, even if it means his own death. Clyde may be able to buy Ben and Ciara precious time in order to escape the devil’s grasp. Whether or not that means redemption is anyone’s guess at this point.
