Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers indicate that Clyde Weston (James Read) is like a bad, bad penny with the mean man turning up during the week of October 16-20. Clyde is always guaranteed to bring the dynamite, sometimes literally! Here’s what he’s up to this time around.

Clyde and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) are both convicts at Statesville Prison, and they cross paths, leading to some dangerous drama. Neither one wants to back down, so their showdown could turn lethal.

On October 17 Clyde finds it necessary to threaten Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). Show spoilers tease that Ava gets a disturbing phone call. Afterward she will turn to Rent-A-Hunk Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) for protection.

Harris could vow to Ava that he’ll keep her and her son Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) safe, and he is a formidable foe. But when Tripp finds himself in a dangerous situation Harris might be out of his league.

What is the end game here plot wise? It makes sense that Ava and Harris need another disaster to strengthen their connection. And Clyde wouldn’t even have to bust out of jail to menace Ava and/or Tripp.

He has lots of connections which make him dangerous even though he’s behind bars. What we do know is that Clyde makes Ava his target and she must take action to protect herself.

There’s no doubt that Clyde is a scary man–although many women have found his bad boy persona to be attractive, like Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) did at one time.

Lucas is Kate’s son, so it could be something having to do with Kate that riles up Lucas. Then again, Clyde doesn’t need a reason to make trouble.

After he calls Ava she will be distraught and naturally turn to someone she thinks she can depend on.

On a side note, it’s easy to imagine James Read being delighted every time the show calls him back for an encore. Clyde is such a deliciously demented villain, and there seems to be no way to completely thwart him!
